    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About the role</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Christians Against Poverty (CAP) is seeking an experienced and strategic <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Fundraising Manager</span> to lead the Fundraising Team through its next season of growth and impact.  </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Reporting directly to the Fundraising &amp; Communications Director, this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to bring strategic leadership and fundraising expertise to grow CAP’s regular income streams and ensure long-term financial sustainability. You will contribute to the development and execution of strategies that expand CAP’s supporter base, strengthen donor engagement and improve retention.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key areas of responsibility include:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop and implement <span>CAP’s</span> annual fundraising plan, and support with long-term strategic planning</li>\n<li>Lead and manage a team of 6, providing guidance and facilitating their professional development</li>\n<li>Achieve annual income targets and supporter growth targets</li>\n<li>Develop and implement effective reporting and forecasting mechanisms for both regular and one-off income streams</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About you</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>You are excited to bring your professionalism and expertise to enable the greatest possible impact for whānau experiencing money chaos in Aotearoa.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>You are an influential leader, who challenges yourself and others. Instead, you leverage your skills and expertise to do what is right for the Kaupapa and the people you’re serving.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>You are ready to undertake a journey – not only committed to your own professional and personal transformation, but you are deeply invested in enabling transformation in others.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">You’ll also bring relevant experience for the role:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>3+ years proven experience in a comparable fundraising leadership role</li>\n<li>Proven success developing and delivering successful fundraising strategies</li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of fundraising principles and best practice, including donor acquisition, retention and engagement</li>\n<li>Strong leadership capabilities with experience leading teams and driving performance</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About CAP</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Christians Against Poverty (CAP) is a professional and client-centric service provider.
