    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><p id=\"isPasted\">General maintenance and repair of cranes, service fleet vehicles small to large, hy-rail components, air compressors, welders and more.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Essential Job Functions:</strong></p><ul><li>Diagnose, repair and service hydraulics and components, especially aerial equipment&nbsp;</li><li>Diagnose, repair and service 12VDC electrical&nbsp;</li><li>Diagnose, repair and service diesel and gas engines&nbsp;</li><li>Perform preventative maintenance and federal inspections- crane, dot, etc&nbsp;</li><li>Utilize hand tools, power tools, impact tools, pneumatic tools, and grinders etc.&nbsp;</li><li>Complete jobs accurately within the designated quoted hours&nbsp;</li><li>Keep the work area clean and maintain the condition of personal tools and shop tools</li><li>Follow all safety guidelines and procedures&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Supervisory Responsibilities:&nbsp;</strong>None</p><p><strong>Education:&nbsp;</strong>High school diploma preferred&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Knowledge:</strong></p><ul><li>Must have good understanding of basic automotive mechanical, electrical (12-volt), pneumatic, and hydraulic systems</li><li>Must have a good understanding of running cranes and heavy equipment&nbsp;</li><li>Must have knowledge of fitting sizes, sizing for hydraulic hosing, and electrical wiring</li></ul><p><strong>Skills:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Strong mechanical aptitude&nbsp;</li><li>General electrical wiring&nbsp;</li><li>Welding experience is preferred (either MIG, TIG, or Stick)</li><li>Any fabrication skills are a plus</li><li>Effective written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Excellent organizational skills and problem-solving skills</li><li>Certified Forklift operator preferred&nbsp;</li><li>Certified overhead crane operator preferred</li></ul><p><strong>Abilities:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to read/ understand hydraulic and electrical systems schematics</li><li>Ability to operate a plasma cutter is preferred</li><li>Ability to use oxygen/acetylene torch&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to work independently and on a team</li></ul><p><strong>Other:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Must own your own tools (company tool program may be available)&nbsp;</li><li>Regular and consistent attendance</li><li>Positive attitude and willingness to learn</li><li>Must be able to pass a post-offer drug screen &amp; physical</li><li>Must be able to pass background check&nbsp;</li><li>Regular and consistent attendance</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong><strong>Physical Requirements: &nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>The ability to wear the appropriate PPE for the job task performed.
