The Security Supervisor plays a critical role in maintaining a safe, compliant, and secure environment for employees, contractors, visitors, and assets.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>Responsibilities: </u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Supervise and direct assigned security personnel to ensure proper coverage, compliance with post orders, and professional conduct always</li>\n <li>Conduct regular patrols of the industrial facility, perimeter, parking areas, and restricted zones to detect and deter unauthorized activity</li>\n <li>Monitor CCTV, access control systems, alarm panels, and other security technology, ensuring appropriate response to alerts and incidents</li>\n <li>Enforce access control procedures by verifying credentials, managing visitor access, and ensuring gates, doors, and secured areas remain protected</li>\n <li>Act as the primary on-site point of contact during assigned shifts.</li>\n <li>Provide leadership and guidance to security staff during incidents, ensuring proper escalation</li>\n <li>Prepare, review, and approve detailed incident reports, daily activity logs, and shift handover documentation for accuracy and completeness</li>\n <li>Conduct inspections of security equipment, emergency response tools, and site infrastructure, reporting deficiencies and coordinating corrective actions</li>\n <li>Liaise professionally with client representatives, contractors, and law enforcement as required to support site security objectives</li>\n <li>Identify security risks, safety hazards, and procedural gaps, recommending improvements to enhance site security and operational efficiency</li>\n <li>Assist with onboarding, training, and mentoring of new security personnel, ensuring understanding of site-specific procedures</li>\n <li>Perform hands-on security duties as required to support operational needs, including covering shifts or access control posts</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><u> </u></p>\n<p><strong><u>Requirement:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum <strong>2 years of Security Supervisory </strong>experience, preferred</li>\n <li>Familiarity with access control systems, alarm monitoring, and CCTV operations</li>\n <li><strong>Strong report writing, documentation, and communication skills</strong></li>\n <li>Valid Ontario Security Guard License</li>\n <li>Must be eligible to work in Canada up to 40 hours per week</li>\n <li>Ability to make sound decisions under pressure and respond effectively to emergency situations</li>\n <li><strong>Knowledge of using computer is preferred</strong></li>\n <li>Valid First Aid and CPR certification</li>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent (GED or equivalent work experience)</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>Benefits:</u></strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Opportunities for career growth and advancement</p>\n<p>Comprehensive health and dental benefits</p>\n<p>Paid training and professional development programs</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>Disclaimer:</u></strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>As part of our standard hiring process, all candidates being considered for employment with Allied Universal are required to undergo a background check.
