We are guided and united by our Group Purpose of “giving our world more smiles.” Visit: https://www.fujifilm.com/us/en/about/region/careers</p>\n<h2>Job Description</h2>\n<p><strong>Essential Job Functions:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Import/export compliance such as classification, valuation and country of origin determination</li>\n <li>HazMat regulations and in-house certification of shipping personnel</li>\n <li>Manage claims for loss or damage with carriers and or insurance company</li>\n <li>Manage transportation/Logistics activities supported by Local and International 3PL partners</li>\n <li>Identify, develop, and implement shipping and distribution process improvements, and document and maintain related published procedures.</li>\n <li>Responsible and accountable for carrying out the requirements of the company’s quality system</li>\n <li>Support shipping activities during peak period, emergencies, or to meet unusual requirements</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Knowledge and Experience:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>5 years of transportation-related experience, supporting ISO-Certified, Lean Manufacturing preferred</li>\n <li>Advanced user of Microsoft Office applications, and familiarity with ERP systems such as Oracle</li>\n <li>HAZMAT certification, DOT and IATA preferred</li>\n <li>Working knowledge of Incoterms</li>\n <li>Experience working parcel carriers and air/ground forwarders from rate negotiations through delivery</li>\n <li>Familiar with regulatory guidelines included in 49 CFR, 19 CFR, BIS, EAR, HTS, etc.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Skills and Abilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Possess excellent organizational skills</li>\n <li>Ability to speak/write clearly, consistently and articulately, and present to a varied audience</li>\n <li>Ability to prioritize work and handle numerous tasks simultaneously in a fast paced environment</li>\n <li>Ability to make independent decisions, assume responsibility and exercise good judgment</li>\n <li>Team player, willing to do whatever it takes to help the team succeed</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Salary:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>$33.00/hr.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>FUJIFILM Sonosite, Inc.</strong>  Visit us today to learn more about our exciting technologies and how you can make a difference.
