As a Charge/ Lead Housekeeper, you will: • Interact daily with patients, public and employees to receive and/or provide information. Assists management team with supervision of the housekeeping staff. • Assist with department QI initiates. • Participate in appropriate housekeeping processes and procedures. • Maintain departmental housekeeping supplies. • Communicate any issues in a manner consistent with our values. • Provide a clean environment for all patients, public and employees at Shady Grove Adventist Healthcare. • Access to Non-Pharmacy medication areas in accordance with the Policy#101-01-180 Security of Medications in Non-Pharmacy Areas. • Ensure infection control protocols are followed in daily cleans, discharges/transfers and ancillary areas, by following our Eight Step Cleaning Procedures. Qualified candidates will possess: • A high school diploma/GED or relevant experience • 3 plus years of relevant experience. Good written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to monitor assigned areas for necessary supplies and equipment. • Basic arithmetic skills in order to maintain linen count Work Schedule: Employment Type: Full-time Hours per Week: 40 hrs/week Typical Daily Schedule: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM Monday through Friday Shift Type: Day Weekend Requirements: Required every other weekend rotation Holiday Requirements: Required/ Rotating Follow company holiday calendar On-Call: No Shift Differential Eligible: Yes Pay Range: $19.21 - $24.90 If the salary range is listed as $0 or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.
