Our diverse staff all share the same vision – create great projects, and even better relationships. </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">The position: </span></p>\n<p>We are actively seeking a highly motivated Surveyor join our growing team. This is an on-site position working out of our office located in Edmonton, AB. </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities: </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform topographic, construction, and boundary surveys for civil engineering projects. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepare survey layouts, including roads, utilities, grading, and building sites. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Conduct fieldwork using GPS, total stations, and other surveying instruments. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Collect, process, and analyze survey data to support design and construction activities. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure accurate and timely survey information. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain detailed field notes, sketches, and reports. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure compliance with all applicable legal standards and regulations. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Coordinate with contractors and stakeholders to provide field support during construction phases. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist in preparing plans, maps, and survey drawings using AutoCAD or Civil 3D. </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What you Bring:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Diploma or degree in Geomatics, Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Alberta Land Surveyor (ALS) designation or eligibility for certification in Alberta. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum 2 years of experience in land or construction surveying. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Proficiency in GPS, total stations, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong understanding of boundary laws, mapping, and topographical survey techniques. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to work independently in the field and as part of a larger project team. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to various job sites in the province. </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Who You Are: </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>You are fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>You are comfortable multi-tasking and prioritizing tasks without supervision. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>You are a natural self-starter with the ability to meet tight deadlines. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>You collaborate effectively with colleagues from various disciplines. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>You understand the importance of providing a high level of customer service to all clients and stakeholders. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>You thrive in a fast-paced environment where you welcome challenges rather than shy away from them. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>You want to be a part of a supportive team who works hard and has fun! </li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What We Offer</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Competitive salary, comprehensive benefits package, and company wellness program.</li>\n<li>A key role in strengthening the Edmonton civil team within a rapidly expanding national firm.</li>\n<li>Opportunities to work on diverse, high-impact projects throughout Alberta and across Canada.</li>\n<li>A collaborative, innovative environment where your expertise directly contributes to shaping communities.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>At Design Works Engineering, we offer more than just a job; we offer a career.
