That may include asset management and planning, assistance with project funding applications, preliminary and final designs, procurement and bid phase assistance and construction phase services. Candidates must have a strong work ethic and a passion for water/ wastewater treatment and facilities. Experience with municipal water and wastewater unit process treatment, pipeline and treatment plant hydraulics, process mechanical layouts is essential.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Most of our team enjoys a<strong> hybrid</strong> schedule, which allows us to offer this role in<strong>: Princeton or Hamilton, NJ; or our Philadelphia (Exton), PA offices. </strong></p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>The selected candidate will have the opportunity to:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide and apply their technical knowledge in Planning (treatment studies, process/hydrologic/hydraulic modeling, permitting and site planning).</li>\n <li>Provide and apply their technical knowledge in Design (process design, process / mechanical design, process and equipment selection, sizing, layout of equipment, chemical feed systems).</li>\n <li>Provide and apply their technical knowledge in Construction (bidding assistance to the client, construction administration around submittal reviews, responses to technical RFI’s and engineering site inspections).</li>\n <li>Provide and apply their technical knowledge in Funding & Permits (assist in preparing applications, respond to review comments, perform closeout assignments).</li>\n <li>Perform condition assessments, basis of design studies.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>B.S. in chemical, civil, environmental or mechanical engineering.</li>\n <li>Engineer-In-Training/FE.</li>\n <li>6-10 years of civil engineering design experience required with a focus on water wastewater treatment facilities design or related experience.</li>\n <li>Previous experience in writing basis of design reports, preparing process mechanical drawings for water and wastewater facilities, preparing engineering estimates of construction costs and technical specifications.</li>\n <li>Strong AutoCAD and BIM (Revit) skills. </li>\n <li>Ability and motivation to obtain Professional Engineering license within one (1) year of required.</li>\n <li>Candidates must possess excellent organizational, communication, computer and technical writing skills.</li>\n <li>SewerGEMS /WaterGEMS/ Process treatment modeling (Biowin)preferred. </li>\n <li>Membership in AWWA, ASCE and or Water Environment Federation or desire to participate preferred. </li>\n</ul>\n<strong> </strong> \n<p>Following an offer, candidates will be required to satisfactorily complete employment reference checks, verification of professional licensure and/or educational credentials, a motor vehicle report (MVR), and a comprehensive background check.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Move Forward with Kleinfelder:</strong> Kleinfelder and its’ subsidiaries and affiliates, has been connecting great people to the best work since 1961.
