Every member of the IYR works to contribute to the Programs and Services in their own way to make them accessible to all youth who need those services in Idaho.</p><p><br></p><p>Must Haves:</p><ul><li>Be 25 years of age</li><li>High School diploma or equivalent and three years of full time experience in a children’s residential care facility OR an Associate’s degree and two years full time experience in a children’s residential facility &nbsp;OR a Bachelor’s degree and one year full time experience in a children’s residential treatment facility.</li><li>A valid Idaho driver’s license or obtain one within 15 days of hire</li><li>Knowledge of psychiatric disorders, behavioral management techniques, and trauma-informed care approaches.</li><li>Background in the treatment of adolescents</li></ul><p>Preferred:</p><ul><li>Prior experience in a residential facility in a managerial or supervisory role</li><li>Knowledge of relevant regulations and licensing requirements governing residential treatment facilities</li></ul><p>Our Residential Managers:</p><ul><li>Recruit, hire, train, and supervise residential staff members, including direct care staff</li><li>Establishes a schedule that ensures the best operation of the program</li><li>Works to assure that personnel know and understand the service plans of each individual child in their program</li><li>Supports the Program Manager, program and clinical staff by covering on-call duties as assigned</li></ul><p>This position will work 5/8s between 12pm and 8pm, and will include at least 1 weekend day.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>As a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit, the Idaho Youth Ranch is a qualifying employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PLSF) program. The PLSF offers student loan forgiveness on qualifying loans under specific conditions.
