The Clinical Pharmacist position will also work in the in-house retail pharmacy and be responsible for accurately filling medications in a timely manner.  This position also provides clear and concise communication with patients, pharmacy staff, clinical staff, medical providers, administration, vendors, and insurance companies.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; text-decoration: underline\">Clinical Pharmacist Essential Duties</span><br></p>\n<ol>\n<li>Review prescriptions to assure accuracy, 340B eligibility, and safety.</li>\n<li>Maintain knowledge of 340B program and compliance regulations.</li>\n<li>Participate in after-hours pharmacy on-call rotation as assigned by Pharmacy Manager.</li>\n<li>Lead Pharmacy Technicians and manage pharmacy workflow to ensure prescriptions are accurately filled in a timely manner.</li>\n<li>Provide counsel to patients with instructions for medication use.</li>\n<li>Work with the Clinical Pharmacist and Pharmacy Technicians to conduct SimpleSync medication adherence program.</li>\n<li>Work with the Clinical Pharmacist to ensure Medication Therapy Management is completed for eligible patients.</li>\n<li>Work with pharmacy staff to maintain accurate inventory through auditing processes and document and/or research discrepancies as necessary.</li>\n<li>Work with pharmacy staff to order medications and over the counter items from wholesalers.</li>\n<li>Bill prescription insurance and troubleshoot rejected claims.</li>\n<li>Provide price quotes when needed to clinical staff.</li>\n<li>Navigate patient electronic medical record to find demographic information, 340B eligibility information, and billing information.</li>\n<li>Provides telemedicine service for health center patients.</li>\n<li>Use electronic medical record software to communicate with clinical staff as needed.</li>\n<li>Work with the Clinical Pharmacist, Pharmacy Support Specialist, and Care Coordinators to help eligible patients receive financial assistance for prescriptions when needed.</li>\n<li>Utilize multiple drug info resources to provide drug info to providers and/or staff.</li>\n<li>Navigate KMAP and Medicare platforms to assist patients with their insurance eligibility.</li>\n<li>Maintain established procedures concerning security of controlled substances, and disposal of hazardous waste.</li>\n<li>Communicate effectively with clinical staff and Providers.</li>\n<li>Prepare required reporting as needed.</li>\n<li>Assist with completion of pharmacy daily checklist tasks</li>\n<li>Perform all duties, services and documentation in full compliance with policies and procedures.</li>\n<li>Attend and participate in required meetings and trainings.</li>\n<li>Perform additional duties, including Clinical Pharmacist tasks, as assigned. </li>\n</ol>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif;
