The ideal candidate is a seasoned guard with excellent communication skills, willing to work the mentioned shift, and able to manage the job requirements. If you have experience as a security guard, enjoy patrolling, is swift in computers and can maintain a high level of professionalism, we'd like to hear from you.</p>\n<p><strong>Requirement:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Six months of experience in a guard role in security.</li>\n <li>Valid drivers license required.</li>\n <li>Open shift availability.</li>\n <li>Ability to operate technology and wireless communication systems at client-specific sites.</li>\n <li>Must have a valid Ontario Security License.</li>\n <li>Must be eligible to work in Canada up to 40 hours a week.</li>\n <li>First Aid and CPR</li>\n <li>Must be at least 18 years old.</li>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience</li>\n <li>Physically capable of standing or walking for long periods, climbing stairs, and occasionally lifting or carrying up to 20 kilograms.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Efficient with computers, ensuring effective patrolling and site security.</li>\n <li>Responds to Emergency Situations such as fires, Chemical Spills, Medical Emergencies, Phone Threats, answers alarms and investigate disturbances.</li>\n <li>Monitors and authorizes entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security/safety of premises.</li>\n <li>Completes monthly, weekly, and daily tasks assigned.</li>\n <li>Communicate with stakeholders, including site management, in a professional manner.</li>\n <li>Address and manage security incidents and emergency situations calmly and efficiently.</li>\n <li>Perform regular patrols and site checks to maintain security standards.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Benefits:</strong></p>\n<p>Opportunities for career growth and advancement.Comprehensive health and dental benefitsPaid training and development programs.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Disclaimer:</strong></p>\n<p>As part of our standard hiring process, all candidates being considered for employment with Allied Universal are required to undergo a background check.
