Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.\n<h2>Description</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Assisting in software development, engineering and technical support for digital system models (DSMs)</li>\n <li>Working with simulations of US and foreign military aircraft and weapon systems</li>\n <li>Supporting requests from various labs on the installation</li>\n <li>Performing software enhancements or debugging</li>\n <li>Developing reports of system/model performance and providing analysis and troubleshooting of DSM or program anomalies as necessary</li>\n <li>Potentially serving as a member of various working groups and maintaining a collaborative working relationship with various service research laboratories</li>\n <li>Fielding information requests from various base agencies as they relate to the digital simulations</li>\n</ul>\n<p><em>#LI-DH1</em> </p>\n<h2>Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Active SECRET clearance</li>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science (preferred), or a relevant technical discipline and a minimum of Five (5) or more years' experience developing software</li>\n <li>Some experience with software used to support simulations</li>\n <li>Analytical skills and the ability to develop solutions and implement features based on customer feedback via demonstrations or input from subject matter experts</li>\n <li>Ability to work equally well in a team environment or independently as needed</li>\n <li>Self-motivated with the ability to produce deliverable effectively with little oversight</li>\n <li>Strong communication skills with the ability to compose presentations, White Papers, and deliver technical briefings if requested</li>\n <li>Some travel may be required</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Desired Skills</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Master’s degree in Computer Science or a relevant technical discipline and eight (8) or more years' experience especially working with software for simulations</li>\n <li>Matlab experience with the ability to generate reports, draw data, and provide analyses.</li>\n <li>Ability to work with or learn C++</li>\n <li>Experience with an object-oriented programming language (e.g., Java, Python, Ruby)</li>\n <li>Some previous experience working with simulations of aircraft, missiles or weapon systems</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Clearance Information</h2>\n<p><strong>SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL</strong></p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<h2>Travel Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>10% or less</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>About Us</h2>\n<p>Scientific Research Corporation is an advanced information technology and engineering company that provides innovative products and services to government and private industry, as well as independent institutions.
