This is a long-term opportunity for a nurturing nanny who genuinely enjoys infant care and is excited to become an integral part of a family’s day-to-day life. The family is seeking someone warm, engaging, and highly experienced with infant milestones who can confidently guide their daughter through developmental stages while creating a loving, stimulating, and structured environment. The ideal candidate is proactive, dependable, and truly passionate about caring for children.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Schedule:Monday through Friday, approximately 8/9am - 6pm (40–50 hours per week)</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Full care of the infant during working hours</li>\n <li>Bottle preparation/feeding (currently formula-fed) and transitioning to solids when age-appropriate</li>\n <li>Tracking and supporting developmental milestones and age-appropriate enrichment</li>\n <li>Engaging in reading, tummy time, play, walks, and stimulating activities</li>\n <li>Bathing, dressing, diapering, and maintaining routines/schedules</li>\n <li>Preparing healthy meals for the child as she grows and supporting feeding transitions</li>\n <li>Keeping nursery, baby items, bottles, and play areas clean and organized</li>\n <li>Children’s laundry and organization related to the child</li>\n <li>Creating a safe, nurturing, and loving environment while maintaining strong safety awareness</li>\n <li>Supporting the family in creating consistency around the child’s daily routine</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum 5+ years of professional in-home nanny experience</li>\n <li>Significant infant experience with strong references</li>\n <li>Long-term career nanny mindset</li>\n <li>Comfortable collaborating with parents and providing updates on milestones and routines</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Requirements</h2>\n<p>Vaccinated<strong>: </strong>regularly updated adult vaccines, annual flu shot, current COVID vaccination, Tdap, MMR, Varicella/chickenpox,<strong> </strong>Hepatitis B</p>\n<h2>Salary and Benefits</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>$35-40/hr</li>\n <li>10 vacations days</li>\n <li>Sick time off (5 business days)</li>\n <li>Paid federal holidays</li>\n <li>Transportation/commuting support (Metro card)</li>\n</ul>",
