What is the purpose of this role?
DOOR is seeking a highly detail-oriented and hands-on Senior Accountant to support the day-to-day accounting operations of the business. This role will play a critical part in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting the monthly close process, preparing reconciliations, and ensuring financial data is complete and reliable.
The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys being deeply involved in the operational side of accounting, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can independently manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and organization. This position will partner closely with the Controller and broader Finance team to support the continued growth and operational efficiency of DOOR.
What is the role?
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for supporting daily accounting operations and assisting with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities. This role will own key balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, financial reporting support, and accounting analyses while helping ensure compliance with US GAAP and company policies.
This is a highly hands-on accounting role focused on execution, accuracy, and operational support across several accounting functions. The Senior Accountant will work cross-functionally with teams including FP&A, Operations, Revenue, and Accounts Payable to ensure transactions are properly recorded and financial processes run smoothly.

What will you do?
General Accounting & Financial Operations
Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting Prepare and post journal entries for month-end close activities Own assigned balance sheet accounts, including complex reconciliations and variance analysis Manage internally-developed software capitalization process (ASC 350-40) Assist with maintaining the general ledger and ensuring financial data integrity Prepare variance analyses and supporting schedules for management review Support accounting for prepaid expenses, fixed assets, accruals, inventory, cash, and intercompany transactions Assist with expense tracking, account analysis, and transaction research Ensure accounting records comply with US GAAP and company accounting policies Prepare audit schedules and support internal and external audit requests Assist with the preparation of external SEC reporting including tie-outs of the reports Support banking activities, cash reporting, and treasury-related tasks Help improve accounting processes and identify opportunities for automation and operational efficiency Maintain organized documentation and support process standardization across accounting workflows. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with teams across Finance, Operations, Revenue, and Accounts Payable to ensure accurate financial reporting Assist with resolving accounting discrepancies and operational issues Support ad hoc financial reporting and accounting projects as needed Participate in system and process improvement initiatives within NetSuite and other financial tools
What do you bring to DOOR?
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance 5+ years of progressive accounting experience Strong knowledge of GAAP and general ledger accounting Experience supporting month-end and year-end close processes Experience preparing journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations Strong Excel skills and experience working within ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) High attention to detail and strong organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently while also collaborating cross-functionally Preferred Qualifications
CPA certification or CPA-eligible preferred Public accounting experience is a plus Experience within a technology, SaaS, hardware, or publicly traded company environment preferred Familiarity with SOX controls and audit support processes Experience with revenue recognition and inventory accounting is a plus
