We provide a full range of industrial facilities maintenance and process maintenance services.</p>\n<h2>Job Summary</h2>\n<p>MOR PPM Inc. is seeking qualified Valve Technicians for an outage in Sutherland, NE.</p>\n<h2>Essential Duties & Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>Valve Technician shall be fully competent and skilled in all conventional aspects of valve repair. They shall have a minimum of two (2) years’ experience in valve repair and testing. Duties shall include testing, checkout, and repair of manual, pneumatic, and electrically operated valves.</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Capable of working on all types of valves; gate, globe, knife, and butterfly.</li>\n <li>Capable of removing and replacing / disassembly and reassembly.</li>\n <li>Capable of cleaning and sandblasting valve parts prior to overhauling.</li>\n <li>Capable of reseating and lapping valve seats and valve discs.</li>\n <li>Capable of machining valve discs as well as valve parts.</li>\n <li>Remove and replace all types of packing, seal rings and seals.</li>\n <li>Operate basic hand tools, welders, torches.</li>\n <li>Operate and interpret precision measuring tools as needed to perform associated work.</li>\n <li>Capable of operating torque wrenches.</li>\n <li>Rigging qualified.</li>\n <li>Print reading skills.</li>\n <li>Writing Skills.</li>\n <li>Basic computer skills.</li>\n <li>Skilled in technical communication.</li>\n <li>Follow DISTRICT Lockout/Tagout Procedures.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>OSHA Requirements</strong></p>\n<p>All craft are required to have OSHA 10 prior to arriving on site. </p>\n<p><strong>Per Diem:</strong></p>\n<p>Using gsa.ogv rates</p>\n<p>$178/paid 7 days (except 1st and last week of work – paid days worked). Permanent address must be greater than 50 miles using shortest distance calculation. No PD will be paid on days missed.</p>\n<p>Per Diem must be verified and we must retain records for audit. Need 2 items (1 from each list below) and must be dated within 60-90 days of start date.</p>\n<p>Per Diem Documentation Requirements:</p>\n<p>List A</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Utility bill for water, gas, electricity, cable or land line at least 30 days old but no more than 3 months</li>\n <li>Major credit card bill at least 30-days old but no more than 3 months (I suggest we black out account number if someone provides that)</li>\n <li>Mortgage receipt for permanent address within the past 3 months</li>\n <li>Rent receipt for permanent address within the past 3 months</li>\n</ul>\n<p>List B</p>\n<ul>\n <li>City, county or other property tax statements within the past 12 months</li>\n <li>DMV vehicle registration</li>\n <li>State or federal tax return (if prepared by someone else, need proof of payment to tax preparer). I suggest we ask for first and last page only – everything needs to be blacked out if they provide it</li>\n <li>Voter registration card</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Travel In & Out:</strong></p>\n<p>$400 in and out for those with permanent address greater than 200 miles. Must get ROF/RIF for travel out</p>\n<p><strong> </strong><strong>Completion Bonus (outage only):</strong></p>\n<p>$3.00/ST and 4.50/OT to base rate.  Must meet safety, attendance, and compliance site rules and finish assignment with Lay Off.</p>\n<h2>Physical Demands</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Occasional lifting of items weighting a maximum of 50 pounds.</li>\n <li>Ability to climb stairwells up to 15 levels high.</li>\n <li>Ability to ascend and descend ladders (step, extension, cage) up to 24’ high.</li>\n <li>Able to walk at a normal pace for up to 15 continuous minutes.</li>\n <li>Able to work from a standing position for 8-12 hours.</li>\n <li>Ability to twist and bend on a recurring basis.</li>\n <li>Weather conditions that can be expected are wet, humid, heat and cold, bright/dim light, traffic, heights, dusts, and pollen.</li>\n <li>The job requires normal visual acuity, field vision, hearing, speaking, color perception, sense of smell, depth perception, and texture perception.</li>\n <li>Some environments are in a high noise and vibrating area.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Equal Opportunity Employer</h2>As a leading provider of mechanical and electrical construction, facilities services, and energy infrastructure, we offer employees a competitive salary and benefits package and we are always looking for individuals with the talent and skills required to contribute to our continued growth and success.
