Department Overview
The Manager – Technical Product Manager (TPM) is responsible for the end-to-end ownership, delivery, and evolution of Restaurant Network products with meaningful business impact. This role blends strong product management discipline (vision, roadmap, backlog, release management) with technical depth and people leadership.
The Manager TPM leads one or more technical product areas, partners closely with business and engineering stakeholders, and ensures products deliver measurable value through well-planned releases, predictable delivery, and continuous improvement. This role is expected to influence outcomes across teams and challenge assumptions to ensure optimal solutions are delivered.
Duties
Product Strategy & Vision
· Own and evolve the product vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap aligned to business goals, customer needs, and technology strategy.
· Partner with business leaders, architects, and engineering teams to assess long-term viability, scalability, and modernization of products.
· Balance feature development, technical debt, risk reduction, and operational excellence.
Product Execution & Backlog Management
· Own and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring work is sequenced by value, risk, and dependencies.
· Translate business outcomes into clear epics, features, and acceptance criteria consumable by delivery teams.
· Ensure alignment across squads/teams for multi-product or cross-platform initiatives.
Release Management
· Own release planning and execution for assigned products, including:
o Release scope definition
o Dependency and risk management
o Coordination across engineering, operations, and business stakeholders
· Maintain a single, transparent release plan mapped to the product roadmap.
· Ensure readiness across documentation, communications, deployment, and operational support prior to release.
· Continuously improve release quality, predictability, and post-release outcomes through retrospectives and metrics.
Stakeholder Partnership & Communication
· Act as the primary product owner and voice of the customer for assigned technology products. [
· Communicate product vision, roadmap, release plans, and progress to business, technology, and leadership audiences.
· Proactively manage risks, escalations, and trade-offs to protect business outcomes.
People Leadership & Team Development
· Lead, coach, and develop Technical Product Managers, Analysts, or supporting roles as applicable.
· Establish consistent product management practices, standards, and ways of working across the team.
· Foster a culture of customer focus, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Metrics & Continuous Improvement
· Define and track product KPIs (business, operational, and technical) to measure success and inform prioritization.
· Use data, customer feedback, and operational insights to drive ongoing optimization and innovation.
Qualifications
· 7+ years of experience in Product Management, Technical Product Management, or related roles
· Demonstrated experience owning product roadmaps, backlogs, and releases
· Strong experience working in product-centric delivery models
· Proven ability to influence without authority across engineering, architecture, operations, and business teams
· Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Nice to Have
· Experience with network, infrastructure, or platform-based products (e.g., networking, cloud, observability, IT platforms)
· Familiarity with enterprise-scale environments and globally distributed products
· Experience managing operationally critical products with high availability or reliability requirements

The expected salary range for this role is $138,207.00 - $172,758.00 per year
