    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<div>\n <div>\n  <p><strong>Bridge Practice&nbsp;</strong></p>\n  <p>Michael Baker International has addressed bridge design, construction and preservation challenges with innovative and sustainable solutions.&nbsp;&nbsp;Exemplifying its depth and versatility in the bridge space, Michael Baker International, ranked Number seven by Engineering News-Record in its annual ranking of Bridge Design Firms in the United States, has partnered with clients on a full spectrum of bridge types-from conventional grade separations to major, complex river crossings, including trusses, arches, box girders and cable-stayed bridges.</p>\n  <p><strong>What We’re Looking For:</strong></p>\n  <div style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:400;margin:0px;padding:0px\">\n   <div style=\"margin:0px;padding:0px\">\n    <p>Michael Baker International is seeking a motivated and detail-driven Senior Bridge CADD Designer to support our expanding bridge practice in Minneapolis. As a part of our Engineering Team, you will work with bridge, roadway, drainage, and other project team members across the organization to deliver schematic, PS&amp;E, and rehabilitation projects for bridges and other structures that meet project and client expectations for quality, content, schedule, and cost. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p>\n   </div>\n   <div style=\"margin:0px;padding:0px\">\n    <p><strong>What You’ll Do:</strong>&nbsp;</p>\n   </div>\n   <div style=\"margin:0px;padding:0px\">\n    <ul>\n     <li>Use a CADD workstation to create, maintain, and document schematic drawings, preliminary and final plans, and 2D/3D models</li>\n     <li>Use Bluebeam Revu and Studio to collaborate on the redlining/correction of drawings and follow the appropriate quality process</li>\n     <li>Prepare OBM models for bridges as required by clients, and utilize a working knowledge of ORD to coordinate with other disciplines&nbsp;</li>\n     <li>Prepare details for reinforced concrete, prestressed and post-tensioned concrete, and structural steel bridges/structures&nbsp;</li>\n     <li>Verify the accuracy, compatibility, and coordination of plans and details&nbsp;</li>\n     <li>Exhibit a positive attitude and be an active participant in the office and during remote work sessions.&nbsp;</li>\n     <li>Develop and maintain effective working relationships with project team members, sub-consultants and clients.</li>\n     <li>Evaluate and document processes for projects/software and make recommendations for project delivery process improvements.</li>\n     <li>Assist with the development/training of EITs, technicians and others.&nbsp;</li>\n    </ul>\n    <p><strong>What You’ll Need to Succeed:</strong>&nbsp;</p>\n   </div>\n   <div style=\"margin:0px;padding:0px\">\n    <ul>\n     <li>7+ years of bridge and structural CADD experience&nbsp;</li>\n     <li>Two-year technical degree&nbsp;</li>\n     <li>Proficiency with Connect Edition of Microstation&nbsp;</li>\n     <li>Experience with MnDOT Bridge and Transportation projects&nbsp;</li>\n     <li>Proficiency with Bluebeam Revu and Studio&nbsp;</li>\n     <li>Working knowledge of OBM and ORD Preferred&nbsp;</li>\n    </ul>\n   </div>\n  </div>\n  <p style=\"margin-left:0in\"><strong>COMPENSATION</strong>&nbsp;</p>\n  <p>The approximate compensation range for this position is $82,000 to $134,000.
