    "description": "<p><em>Help kids from birth to twelve years old belong in Community, become Disciples, and build the Kingdom!</em></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Essential Duties</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>The BKLC Lead Teacher:<br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provides children with the best quality care by maintaining licensing, programming, and health and safety standards;<br></li>\n<li>Creates lesson plans to implement Creative Curriculum learning objectives; planning, preparing, and executing developmentally appropriate activities and routines daily;<br></li>\n<li>Supports a growing and empowering ministry for our BKLC children and families.<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Regular Duties</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>The BKLC Lead Teacher also provides:<br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Documentation</span> – completes developmental assessment reports and screenings twice a year;<br></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Environment</span> – keeps Infant/Toddler and Preschool areas organized and clean (including storage spaces);<br></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Coverage</span> – works the employee schedule provided by the Director and covers when other team members are absent;<br></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Communication</span> – creates a monthly newsletter, social media posts, and daily communication with families;<br></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Planning</span> – prepares for our annual summer camp, Christmas and graduation programs, field trips, and class parties;<br></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Team Support</span> – assists with BKLC projects or events, runs errands, and regularly encourages the BKLC Team.<br></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Director Support</span> – attends mandatory meetings, discusses decision matters daily and executes on those decisions.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Position</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Full-Time Hourly Support Staff.<br></li>\n<li>Reports to BKLC Director.<br></li>\n<li>$13-15/hr DOE wage, paid biweekly by direct deposit.<br></li>\n<li>Mon–Fri, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm (start/end times may vary slightly by classroom).<br></li>\n<li>Vacation: 5 days to start, 1 extra day each year of employment up to 15 days (3 weeks).<br></li>\n<li>403(b) retirement account (for employee contributions only).<br></li>\n<li>Health insurance plan available at cost to employees.<br></li>\n<li>90-day probationary period with performance evaluation.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>3-4 years related work experience preferred.<br></li>\n<li>Early Childhood Education background preferred.<br></li>\n<li>An active relationship with Jesus; regularly attends Bethany Assembly or a local church.<br></li>\n<li>Supportive of Bethany Assembly’s leadership (Board and Executive Team).<br></li>\n<li>Promotes the ministry of BKLC to kids up to 12 years old.<br></li>\n<li>Positive and professional at all times; creates a culture of honor, respect, and integrity.<br></li>\n<li>Commitment to continuous education and training.<br></li>\n</ul>",
