We provide solutions to quality, cost and production challenges for market-leading customers in industries such as automotive, heavy duty, medical, electronics, cutlery and defense.</p><p><strong>Precision Resource</strong> offers:</p><ul><li>Benefits package including health, dental, life and vision insurance</li><li>401(k) with match and profit sharing</li><li>Annual bonus based on division profitability</li><li>Vacation and flexible paid holidays</li><li>Wellness and Employee Assistance Programs</li><li>Tuition reimbursement and paid training</li><li>Work with an established team of long-term employees</li></ul><p>Our <strong>Connecticut</strong>&#160;division, located in Shelton,&#160;seeks a <strong>Quality Manager.</strong></p><p><strong>Summary</strong></p><p>The Quality Manager has overall responsibility for managing the Quality department in order to establish advanced quality and reliability engineering to enhance product quality, reliability and acceptance.</p><p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities&#160;</strong></p><ul><li>Set, direct &amp; support priorities of the Quality team (development of accountabilities for each team member)</li><li>Review/re-set objectives in conjunction with on-time performance evaluations</li><li>Develop, implement and improve departmental metrics</li><li>Drive continual improvement process within the Quality department</li><li>Develop a continuous learning process for all staff (proper measurement techniques, identifications fit/function &#8211; critical characteristics, standardization of acceptance criteria)</li><li>Ensure customer and supplier PPAP&#160;or ISIR submissions, NCR&#8217;s (Nonconformance Reporting), Inspection, SPC, Gauge Program, Cost of Quality, internal audits, etc. are accurate and completed in a timely manner</li><li>Lead/support problem resolution and responsiveness of all customer quality related issues</li><li>Customer liaison</li><li>Attend customer meetings and&#160;conferences</li><li>Review all 8D reports and corrective actions implemented</li><li>Actively participate in APQP&#160;and quote review meetings</li><li>Ensure Division maintains IATF 16949 certification</li><li>Improve and maintain accurate Quality procedures and manuals</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications, Education, Experience&#160;</strong></p><ul><li>BS in Engineering or highly technical training equal to a 4-year program or 5&#160;years minimum&#160;of manufacturing experience in the metal working industry</li><li>5&#160;years of supervisory experience within a manufacturing environment</li><li>Experience with formal documentation systems and methods particularly ISO9001 and IATF 16949</li><li>Experience in the automotive industry preferred.</li></ul><p>Precision Resource is an equal opportunity employer, M/F/D/V.&#160; To learn more, visit <a href=\"http://www.precisionresource.com/careers/\">www.precisionresource.com/careers/</a></p>",
