TMH is the region's healthcare leader and top provider of advanced care with a 772-bed acute care hospital and the region's only:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Level II Trauma Center </li>\n <li>Primary Stroke Center </li>\n <li>Level III Neonatal Intensive Care </li>\n <li>Pediatric Intensive Care </li>\n <li>The most advanced cancer, heart and vascular, orthopedic & surgery programs in the Panhandle. </li>\n</ul>\n<p>Our system also includes a psychiatric hospital, multiple specialty care centers, six residency programs and more than 50 affiliated physician practices. </p>\n<h2>HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT</h2>\n<p>Manage inventory level of OR supplies; assure proper maintenance and repair of OR equipment; responsible for efficient and effective management of the resources and personnel in the sterile processing department.</p>\n<p><strong>Reports:</strong></p>\n<p>RN/Nurse Manager</p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Supervises:</strong></p>\n<p>Sterile Supply Tech I and II</p>\n<h2>WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO APPLY</h2>\n<p><strong>Required Education:</strong></p>\n<p>Minimum: High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred: Vocational/Technical School Degree</p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Required Experience: </strong></p>\n<p>Minimum: 1 year sterile processing experience </p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Required Certification/License/Registry:</strong></p>\n<p>Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) credential from the Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) [formerly the International Association of Healthcare Central Service Materiel Management (IAHCSMM)] or the Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) credential from the Certification Board For Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) within one (1) year post-hire</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS.</em><strong>  </strong>Completion of a sterile processing course and/or a vocational/technical school diploma/degree in surgical technology.  More than one (1) year of sterile processing experience.
