Candidates who have also recently completed a post-graduate degree in transportation are also considered. We design connected, sustainable solutions that integrate existing infrastructure with new technologies, and optimize the mobility of people and goods.</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\"><strong>Role accountabilities:</strong></p>\n<p>· Assist in the planning and design of transportation infrastructure projects, including roadways, intersections, highways, and transit systems as part of preliminary design and environmental assessment projects.</p>\n<p>· Conduct traffic impact studies, traffic operations analysis, and capacity analysis to evaluate existing and proposed transportation systems.</p>\n<p>· Utilize industry-standard software such as Synchro, VISSIM, and Aimsun to support traffic modeling, simulation, and design development.</p>\n<p>· Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate transportation planning and engineering solutions into larger projects. Work closely with engineers, planners, and project managers to ensure designs meet project requirements and client expectations.</p>\n<p>· Assist in the preparation of technical reports, project proposals, and presentations.</p>\n<p>· Conduct field investigations and data collection, including traffic counts, signal timings, and travel time studies.</p>\n<p>· Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, standards, and best practices in transportation engineering and planning.</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\"><strong>Qualifications &amp; Experience:</strong></p>\n<p>· Undergraduate degree in civil engineering or a related field with a focus on transportation engineering. Master’s degree not required, but also considered an asset.</p>\n<p>· Strong interest in transportation engineering, planning, and design, demonstrated through coursework or related internships/academic projects.</p>\n<p>· Familiarity with transportation software such as Synchro, VISSIM, or similar programs not required, but considered an asset.</p>\n<p>· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.</p>\n<p>· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.</p>\n<p>· Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and collaborate with professionals from diverse disciplines.</p>\n<p>· Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize workload.</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\">Continue your career journey as an Arcadian.</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\">Why Arcadis?</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\">We can only achieve our goals when everyone is empowered to be their best.
