Through our yellow fleet of residential, roll off, and front load trucks and containers, Priority Waste makes the customer experience our #1 priority.</p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Job Purpose</strong><br />\r\nIn your role as a Residential Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a garbage truck and ancillary equipment on assigned route to haul solid waste/recycling debris from customers.</p>\r\n\r\n<p><br />\r\n<strong>Duties and Responsibilities</strong><br />\r\nDuties include but are not limited to:</p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Performs pre and post trip inspections of truck</li>\r\n\t<li>Operates truck in accordance with OSHA and DOT requirements as well as all local, municipal, state, and federal laws</li>\r\n\t<li>Mounts and dismounts a heavy-duty truck many times each day</li>\r\n\t<li>Completes assigned residential route daily, leaving the customers location free of debris</li>\r\n\t<li>Professionally communicates with customers as needed</li>\r\n\t<li>Notifies Route Manager/Dispatch of any accidents, injuries, property damage, or any other incidents</li>\r\n\t<li>Notifies Route Manager/Dispatch of any service interruptions such as closed lots, blocked containers, safety hazards etc</li>\r\n\t<li>Identifies and reports all containers in need of repair/replacement</li>\r\n\t<li>Attends training programs, briefings, and meetings as required</li>\r\n\t<li>Communicates customer requests to Route Manager/Dispatch</li>\r\n\t<li>Immediately communicates mechanical problems to Mechanic and Supervisor</li>\r\n\t<li>Maintains cleanliness of vehicle</li>\r\n\t<li>Maintains professional appearance</li>\r\n</ul>",
