Linguists will serve as subject matter experts and leverage Chinese and their cultural expertise to translate materials and documents into English language products.</p><p>&#xa0;</p><p>Essential Job Duties</p><p>&#xa0;</p><ul><li>Gist, summarize, and translate Chinese printed, electronic, or audio/visual material into clear, understandable, and idiomatically correct English.</li><li>Leverage knowledge of culture, media, and language to answer Client questions.</li><li>Adhere to Client style and translation standards to prepare all products.</li><li>Efficiently leverage Client-specific tools and workflows.</li><li>Ability to meet deadlines, including same day.</li></ul><p>&#xa0;</p>",

          "text": "<p>Minimum Requirements</p><p>&#xa0;</p><ul><li>High School Diploma and three years of relevant experience.</li><li>Proficiency at least 4/4+ (ILR) level in Chinese. Proficiency will be determined by standardized language exams which must be completed as part of the application process.</li><li>Expertise related to country and surrounding regions where Chinese is spoken natively.</li><li>Experience with open source research and support, product creation and dissemination, collection management and workflow support.</li><li>Experience in open source social media collection, analysis, and exploitation.</li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Teams, Excel, and Word.</li><li>Excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to engage collaboratively and effectively in a virtual environment within a diverse team.</li><li>Strong time and task management skills.</li></ul><p>&#xa0;</p><p>Preferred Qualifications</p><p>&#xa0;</p><ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree.</li><li>Experience supporting the Intelligence Community (IC).</li></ul><p>&#xa0;</p>",
