    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>The SR400 Express Lanes Project is a transformative $4.6 billion infrastructure initiative led by SR400 Constructors, a 50/50 joint venture between Flatiron Dragados and ACCIONA. Commissioned by the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) and Georgia State Road Tollway Authority (SRTA), the project will add two 16-mile express lanes from Sandy Springs MARTA Station (Exit 5) to McFarland (Exit 12), enhancing mobility along one of Georgia’s busiest corridors. With a peak workforce of over 500, the project also includes dedicated bus rapid transit stations and key bridge refurbishments. Construction is set to begin in late 2025, with substantial completion anticipated in 2031.The Cost Control Manager will be responsible for facilitating the preparation and updating regularly the Segment Forecast working in a collaborative way with the other project disciplines, monitoring project costs and deviations on a monthly basis, and ensuring accurate reporting of cost performance across one of the SR400 segments. This role plays a key part in integrating cost control systems, analyzing cost data, and supporting project teams in maintaining budgetary discipline throughout the project lifecycle.</p>\n<h2>What you will be doing</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Assist in the development of project forecast on a regular basis using company-supported cost control systems.</li>\n <li> The Cost Control Manager should be able to present areas of concerns and assist segment leadership throughout the process.</li>\n <li>Provide backup analysis and cost data that could help the construction team to better forecasting the remaining work to be completed.</li>\n <li>Prepare templates to facilitate the analysis and organize in a proper way all the supporting documentation.</li>\n <li>Perform cost analysis in conjunction with the construction team to explain the deviations with the Forecast on a monthly basis and prepare the summary reports for upper management.</li>\n <li>Produce/supervise labor and equipment productivity reports.</li>\n <li>Track subcontractors’ cost keeping organized logs with change orders, claims, backcharges, etc.</li>\n <li>Document, track, and report project segment costs in accordance with company processes and procedures, and track performance against key performance indicators (KPIs).</li>\n <li>Report cost data and deviations in a clear, concise and organized manner.</li>\n <li>Keep very organized work practices managing the data basis to ensure smooth processes in all the cost analysis performed by the department. </li>\n <li>Collaborate with project management and project controls teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.</li>\n <li>Support the integration of cost control systems with other project management tools.</li>\n <li>Validate final revenue figures during project closeout and support final billing processes.</li>\n <li>Audit cost data between company and client systems to ensure consistency and accuracy.</li>\n <li>Support internal and external financial audits on assigned project segments.</li>\n <li>Support the Change Management team.</li>\n <li>Maintain awareness of company values, strategic goals, and cost control best practices.</li>\n <li>Perform additional assignments as directed by management.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What we are looking for</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.</li>\n <li>Minimum of 8 years of experience in construction cost control or project engineering.</li>\n <li>Proven experience in cost forecasting, construction finance, and project accounting.</li>\n <li>Advanced knowledge of construction cost control practices and financial reporting.</li>\n <li>Ability to lead and mentor peers while coordinating with other project controls disciplines.</li>\n <li>Strong understanding of project-level financial metrics (e.g., over/under billings, collections).</li>\n <li>Familiarity with risk and opportunity management processes and mitigation planning.</li>\n <li>Expertise in forecasting practices and production analysis, with the ability to identify cost variances and recovery strategies.</li>\n <li>Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.</li>\n <li>Advanced level of Microsoft Excel.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Why work for us</h2>\n<p>Some of the benefits you may be eligible for as an employee are:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Comprehensive compensation package and paid time off program</li>\n <li>Industry leading 401(k)/RRSP</li>\n <li>Medical/Extended Health Care, Dental, Vision and/or Provincial Medical</li>\n <li>Wellness benefits & Employee Assistance Program</li>\n <li>Tuition Reimbursement Program</li>\n</ul>\n<p>We are an EEO/ADA/Veterans employer.</p>\n<h2>Salary Min</h2>USD $125,000.00/Yr.\n<h2>Salary Max</h2>USD $155,000.00/Yr.",
