    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>The Plant Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation, monitoring, and maintenance of process and utility systems in a production facility. This role ensures compliance with operational requirements and environmental guidelines while coordinating with maintenance and third-party personnel to optimize production and ensure accurate reporting.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Start up, operate, monitor, and shut down process and utility systems.</li>\n <li>Monitor, maintain, and optimize process parameters (e.g., level, flow, temperature, pressure) within operating requirements.</li>\n <li>Ensure sampling is carried out, and act upon sample results.</li>\n <li>Troubleshoot to maximize sales quality and delivery volume and identify operational problems.</li>\n <li>Monitor and operate electrical/hydraulic control panels, safety and emergency shutdown devices, and Fire and Gas Systems.</li>\n <li>Ensure accurate production reporting is submitted daily or as required by company and client.</li>\n <li>Witness third-party calibrations to verify meter factors and volumes when appropriate.</li>\n <li>Prove export oil meters.</li>\n <li>Carry out all operations safely and in an environmentally sound manner. Operate the production facility in accordance with customer requirements.</li>\n <li>Test, calibrate, maintain, and inspect equipment.</li>\n <li>Perform mandatory paperwork required by customer                    </li>\n <li>Coordinate logistics for the facility.</li>\n <li>Handle and treat chemicals.</li>\n <li>Facilitate maintenance operations by applying/removing isolations as required.</li>\n <li>Operate under the Permit to Work (PTW) system, conduct Toolbox Talks, and perform Risk Assessments.</li>\n <li>Advise maintenance personnel on the hazards of plant and equipment.</li>\n <li>Maintain clear and precise communications during maintenance operations.</li>\n <li>Control activities of vendor and subcontractor personnel.</li>\n <li>Create and maintain effective working relationships.</li>\n <li>Foster and maintain a positive work culture.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>1+ years of Oil and Gas experience required and/or Plant Operator specific experience preferred.</li>\n <li>High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.</li>\n <li>Mechanical aptitude</li>\n <li>Drilling experience accepted</li>\n <li>Process understanding</li>\n <li>Good experience with Permit to Work (PTW) system</li>\n <li>Must meet conditional job offer requirements including background check, drug test, MVR check, and fit for duty/agility test.</li>\n</ul>",
