This is a future vacancy within the organization.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities: </span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage the day-to-day operations and overall management of DS’s office.</li>\n<li>Responsible for marketing and client liaison</li>\n<li>Recruitment and hiring of strategic staff</li>\n<li>Proposal preparation, budgeting, and client development</li>\n<li>Responsible for planning, management, and execution of projects and those of staff reporting to you to ensure effectiveness of the deployment of staff and resources to achieve DS objectives</li>\n<li>Prepare and oversee proposals on behalf of project managers, liaise with client and project initiation in line with DS standards</li>\n<li>Supervising and mentoring intermediate and senior engineers to enhance their capabilities</li>\n<li>Supervision and management of Office, along with training junior staff</li>\n<li>Ensure health and safety policies are followed at all sites</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Qualifications, Skills &amp; Education:</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>University degree in Civil Engineering or Bachelor of Science from recognized institution</li>\n<li>Must be a registered and practicing Professional Engineer in Ontario</li>\n<li>8 to 10 years of experience in the Geotechnical, Materials Testing and construction industry</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong project management, client management, and business development skills</li>\n<li>Proven leadership and team building experience</li>\n<li>Prior experience with running branch office or division is preferred</li>\n<li>Ability to travel between DS offices and sites within Ontario</li>\n<li>Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills in English</li>\n<li>Organized, works well under pressure and able to multi-task is essential</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Must own a vehicle with insurance coverage and hold a Valid (G-Level) Ontario Driver's License</li>\n<li>Flexible to work on a wide variety of projects, tasks, and assignments, responding easily to changing priorities</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About DS Consultants Ltd:</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>DS Consultants Ltd.
