This role is responsible for testing, inspecting, and documenting product quality to ensure all materials meet required specifications.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Perform quality-related functions including testing, inspections (internal and external), reporting, setups, and filing</li><li>Cut, prepare, and inspect samples from rolled products for dimensions, weight, and overall workmanship</li><li>Operate and maintain tensile testing machines and bending test equipment to verify product specifications</li><li>Identify and report non-conforming materials or deviations to the supervisor</li><li>Utilize hand and power tools, precision measuring instruments, and testing equipment</li><li>Accurately enter test results and inventory data into computer systems</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized work area, including daily housekeeping tasks</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications & Skills:</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to read and use measuring instruments accurately</li><li>Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel</li><li>Strong attendance, reliability, and flexibility to meet business needs</li><li>Effective communication skills</li><li>Ability to perform physical job duties including climbing, bending, stooping, kneeling, and crouching</li></ul><p><strong>Education:</strong></p><ul><li>High School Diploma or GED preferred</li></ul><p><strong>Additional Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Steel toe boots required for work on the production floor</li><li>All other personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided</li></ul>",
