Serve both your community and your colleagues!&nbsp;</p><div style=\"font-family:'Segoe UI';font-size:14px;font-style:normal;font-weight:400;line-height:20px;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><p><strong>Position Summary</strong><br>The Provider Trainer is an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) who divides their time between direct patient care as a float provider and delivering EPIC training and workflow support to clinical providers. This role develops, maintains, and delivers provider onboarding training while working closely with Medical Staff, Quality, Health Information Management, and operational teams. Responsibilities include optimizing provider use of clinical software systems, supporting documentation standards, and ensuring compliance with Federal and State requirements. This position provides coverage across clinics in Davidson, Davie, and Iredell Counties and reports to the Director of Provider Training and Development.</p><p><em>This is a full‑time position that requires significant travel within the service area.</em></p><hr><h2><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h2><ul><li>Provide direct patient care in service area, in a float position, across Davidson, Davie, and Iredell Counties.</li><li>Maintain knowledge of the organization&rsquo;s electronic health record (EPIC) and related clinical software.</li><li>Provide workflow and clinical systems training to new and existing providers to improve competence and confidence in documentation and system use.</li><li>Plan and implement the provider training and orientation schedule.</li><li>Develop and maintain training materials, policies, and procedures related to EHR usage.</li><li>Collaborate with:<ul><li><strong>Quality</strong>: to incorporate regulatory and policy training.</li><li><strong>Health Information Management</strong>: to integrate coding and documentation standards.</li><li><strong>Orientation stakeholders</strong>: to coordinate onboarding activities.</li></ul></li><li>Communicate training evaluation outcomes to the Team Lead and Medical Director.</li><li>Provide ongoing support related to updated processes, system enhancements, and documentation requirements.</li><li>Ensure providers maintain patient confidentiality and privacy in accordance with regulatory standards.</li><li>Maintain adherence to all minimum qualifications, required skills, and responsibilities applicable to Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant roles.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned by the supervising medical doctor.</li></ul><hr><h2><strong>Minimum Qualifications</strong></h2><ul><li>At least 2 years&#39; Pediatric <strong>and</strong> Adult care experience as an APP required.</li><li>Experience working with underserved and/or vulnerable populations.</li><li>Understanding of confidentiality and medical ethics.</li><li>Prior computer and EHR experience (EPIC preferred).</li><li>Ability to maintain effective working relationships.</li><li>Knowledge of standards of medical care.</li><li>Organized, efficient, and accurate in work processes.</li></ul><hr><h2><strong>Required Skills</strong></h2><ul><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and email communication.</li><li>Ability to analyze problems and develop solutions at strategic and functional levels.</li></ul><hr><h2><strong>Education &amp; Experience</strong></h2><ul><li>Master&rsquo;s Degree or higher from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program.</li><li>Previous Pediatric and Family Medicine experience required - 2 years minimum&nbsp;</li><li>FQHC experience preferred.</li></ul><hr><h2><strong>Certifications &amp; Licensure</strong></h2><ul><li>BLS/CPR certification.</li><li>Active North Carolina license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.</li></ul><hr><h2><strong>Work Environment &amp; Physical Requirements</strong></h2><ul><li>Prolonged periods of sitting, reading, and documentation.</li><li>Ability to stand for extended periods.</li><li>Frequent short-distance walking.</li><li>Repetitive keyboard use and limited physical activity.</li><li>Personal vehicle travel to clinics, offices, and offsite meetings.</li><li>Intact sight and hearing (with or without assistive devices).</li></ul><hr><h2><strong>Benefits</strong></h2><ul><li>Monday&ndash;Friday, 8:00 AM&ndash;5:00 PM</li><li>No evenings, weekends, or holidays</li><li>10 paid holidays per year</li><li>Paid Time Off</li><li>Excellent insurance</li><li>Retirement&nbsp;</li><li>Public Service Loan Forgiveness</li></ul><hr><h2><strong>Kintegra Health Core Requirements</strong></h2><ol><li><strong>Patient First</strong> &ndash; Prioritizing the well-being and needs of the patient.</li><li><strong>Build, Not Blame</strong> &ndash; Focusing on improving processes rather than assigning fault.</li><li><strong>Integrity and Honesty</strong> &ndash; Promoting fairness, openness, and responsible use of organizational resources.</li><li><strong>Cooperation and Flexibility</strong> &ndash; Supporting an interdependent team environment.</li><li><strong>Culturally Sensitive</strong> &ndash; Demonstrating awareness, respect, and effective communication across cultures.</li></ol><hr><p><strong>Kintegra Health is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity.</strong></p></div></div></div></div></div>\n",
