As our CEO, Paul Little, says “In order to be successful at Alston Construction, you must enjoy seeing success in others.” If this sounds like you and what you’re looking for, we’d love to hear from you!</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Our top tier benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, prescription safety glasses, short-term disability, long-term disability, life  insurance/AD&amp;D, HSA, health FSA, dependent daycare FSA, EAP, 401(k), Roth  401(k), After-Tax Roth In-Plan Conversion; paid vacation and sick time, paid holidays, tuition reimbursement, Tickets at Work, paid Identity Theft Protection (family coverage) and more!</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Project Location:<span> </span></span><span>Jackson, MS (On-site | Travel Required)</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Summary:</span>  The overall goal of the MEP Project Manager is to deliver high-quality, fully functional MEP systems on schedule and within budget while promoting collaboration and maintaining strong client relationships.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Essential Duties and Responsibilities will include:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>The MEP Project Manager will be primarily involved with performing the following duties and responsibilities.</li>\n<li>Coordinate with design teams to review drawings, specifications, and ensure constructability.</li>\n<li>Monitor installation for compliance with project specifications, codes, and quality standards.</li>\n<li>Track budgets and manage cost impacts related to design or scope adjustments.</li>\n<li>Maintain strong working knowledge of all MEP-related plans, specifications, submittals, and shop drawings.</li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with all safety policies and environmental regulations related to MEP work.</li>\n<li>Participate in client presentations and project meetings (e.g., coordination meetings, commissioning meetings, weekly subcontractor meetings).· Submit close-out documents, including as-built drawings and O&amp;M manuals.<br></li>\n<li>Complete and retain all required project documentation (hard copies and electronically, via Procore) as per policies and procedures.</li>\n<li>Mentor and guide project engineers and MEP coordinators; foster collaboration across disciplines.</li>\n<li>Communicate regularly with project leadership regarding progress, issues, and changes impacting MEP scope.</li>\n<li>Oversee testing, commissioning, and turnover of MEP systems to ensure operational readiness.</li>\n<li>Develop and maintain detailed MEP schedules aligned with overall project milestones.</li>\n<li>Lead MEP coordination meetings with trade partners, consultants, and internal teams to resolve conflicts and maintain schedule.</li>\n<li>Use discretion and independent judgment to manage all aspects of MEP systems delivery.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Education, Experience, and Licensing/Certifications include:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.</li>\n<li>Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field and appropriate experience successfully managing construction projects for a general contractor from conception to completion.</li>\n<li>An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.</li>\n<li>Minimum of 5 years of experience managing MEP systems on large-scale commercial or industrial projects (data center experience strongly preferred).<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><em>Alston Construction is an Equal Opportunity Employer.</em></p>",
