Description

SHINE Technologies is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for the Systems and Manufacturing division who will develop the mechanical systems required for safe and reliable operation, manufacturability, and serviceability of SHINE neutron generators, ion implanters, and radiopharmaceutical production equipment. The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for contributing to mechanical designs on assigned projects, including conceptualizing, design development, analysis, modeling, verification, BOM management, drafting, and supporting designs through production. The base salary range for this position is $75,000 - $110,000 per year plus a comprehensive compensation package. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Duties and Responsibilities of Mechanical Engineer: Present design concepts to stakeholders and hold design reviews to converge on good solutions. Perform, coordinate, and manage detailed mechanical design of neutron generating and ion implantation capital equipment including: 3D CAD models of designs Analyze designs to prove design criteria are met e.g. FEA and CFD Create & release detailed drawings Develop Bills of Materials for systems and complex assemblies Lead designs through the engineering change process Collaborate with vendors to ensure manufacturability of design Assist with assembly of prototype units. Collaborate with test engineers to verify designs. Collaborate with the Engineering Manager & Design Team to develop & update department Standard Operating Procedures.
