    "requisitionDescription": "<div><p>Grand Valley Manufacturing is looking for an experience CNC Large Mill Operator who can independently set-up and run CNC Milling Machines. Minimum of 5 years&#39; experience running CNC Mills and 2 years&#39; experience performing complete set-ups is preferred. Pay rate is based on experience.&nbsp;</p><p>In this role, the Large Mill Operator will be responsible for the correct set-up and operation of Large CNC or Manual Mills.&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Role and Responsibilities:</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul><li>Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and routing instructions to determine dimensions and tolerances, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.&nbsp;</li><li>Load and secure raw materials and ensure proper alignment.&nbsp;</li><li>Perform complex setups of large workpieces, choosing the correcting cutting tools, feeds, and speeds, with minimal assistance.&nbsp;</li><li>Able to load programs and tools into machines, verify programs before production runs, and make minor changes to optimize cutting speeds, feed rates, and tool paths.&nbsp;</li><li>Monitor machine performance, sound, and efficiency to detect tool wear, vibration, defects, or out-of-tolerance machining conditions and adjust as required.&nbsp;</li><li>Verify that all machined details are produced in a manner that meets router specifications.</li><li>Correctly use micrometers and calipers to read measurements.</li><li>Perform safe lifting and maneuvering of large parts (up to 20 tons) utilizing overhead cranes.</li><li>Maintain accurate job logs, routers, and related documentation.&nbsp;</li><li>Monitor and maintain proper cleanliness of machine and work area.</li></ul></div><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><p><span style=\"font-size: 12px;\"><em>Duties may be changed, or additional duties assigned. Minimum of 5-10 Years of CNC Machining Experience preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.</p><p style=\"margin-left:.5in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Preferred Skills</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul><li>Knowledge of CNC Machine operations, G-Code programming, and machine set-up</li><li>Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.&nbsp;</li><li>Strong mechanical aptitude and math skills</li><li>Experience using common inspection tools (calipers, tape measure, micrometers, etc.)</li><li>Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills</li><li>Good teamwork and communication skills</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:.5in;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Physical Demands and Working Conditions</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">The physical demands and working conditions described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
