Overview
Golden Artist Colors is currently seeking to add a 2nd Shift Filling Technician to join their team!
2nd Shift - Monday - Thursday, 8:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. (OT is reserved for Fridays, when available)

Responsibilities
Work in all areas of the Filling Department getting supplies ready for filling operation; running filling machines; capping, labeling, putting product away; helping to keep work area clean and equipment properly cleaned and put in the proper location; serve as a member of the filling team in attending meetings, assisting with work process improvements, helping team members where needed. Use of production software and completion of necessary paperwork.
Remote Position No
Min Compensation USD $17.05/Hr.
Max Compensation USD $19.38/Hr.
Qualifications
Requirements:
High School Diploma
Attention to detail, quality focus
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
Flexible to changing workloads/Work overtime when needed
Team Player – assisting wherever needed in the department
Good attendance record
Basic computer skills
May require a physical assessment and background check
Physical Requirements:
Continuous periods of standing/walking on concrete surface. Minimal ergonomic matting present. Some slip/trip hazards present. Intermittent periods of sitting generally possible for all positions. Dumper, filler, and capper positions may generally alternate sit vs. stand as desired. Adjustable stools with backs are available.
Occasional to constant forward bending, twisting.
Occasional squatting, climbing.
Constant reaching bilaterally.
Constant grasping, pinching bilaterally with moderate force and occasional to frequent use of hand tools.
Up to constant twisting/applying torque with bilateral forearms.
Constant light pushing/pulling; occasional to frequent moderate pushing/pulling of up to 40-50 pounds.
Occasional lifting/carrying of up to 65# 5-gallon containers, which may be stacked 2-3 high. Buckets are obtained and carried 3-5 feet, and then must be lifted and dumped into a 36 inch high hopper.
Frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds from 36 inches and placed at floor to 36 inches.
Constant lifting of up to 20#’s from 36” and placed at floor to 36 inches.
Occasional lifting of up to 20#’s from 36” and place at 36” to 48”.
Constant visual acuity to monitor quality of product.
