Join our team at Chestnut Health Systems as a part-time Recovery Coach at Granite City, IL and help us promote recovery and well-being for our clients.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>As a Recovery Coach, you'll help individuals and families dealing with mental health and substance use issues by meeting with them, understanding their needs, and connecting them with the right treatment and support services. You'll work with community partners, provide guidance and encouragement, and assist clients in overcoming obstacles to their recovery. Essentially, you'll be a supportive guide, helping people navigate their recovery journey and regain control over their lives.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Chestnut Health Systems is a leading provider of behavioral and primary health care services. Over four decades, Chestnut has grown to almost 800 committed, compassionate employees providing substance use, mental health, and primary care treatment to patients in Illinois and Missouri. We provide fully integrated care for all our patients by combining behavioral health care services with our community-based primary care health centers. Chestnut also conducts research and training throughout the U.S.A.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The role consists of <strong>20 hours per week</strong> with a <strong>flexible schedule</strong> to accommodate various shifts.  <strong>The anticipated starting pay for new hires for this position is between $17.00 - $18.00 per hour. </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>There are several factors taken into consideration in determining base pay, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, skills, education, experience, local market conditions, and internal equity. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Client Engagement and Support:</strong> Meet with clients, explain the project, and enroll them in recovery support services if they agree. Build strong relationships by understanding their strengths, needs, and barriers to treatment. Provide pre-treatment engagement in the client’s home as needed.</li>\n <li><strong>Community Collaboration:</strong> Partner with local organizations like One Hope United and Bethany Social Services to connect clients with behavioral health and primary care treatment services.</li>\n <li><strong>Active Linkage and Advocacy:</strong> Connect clients to recovery communities and support services, organize sobriety-based activities, provide transportation, and advocate on their behalf to ensure they receive necessary services.</li>\n <li><strong>Ongoing Monitoring and Education:</strong> Help clients overcome barriers to recovery through continuous support, monitoring, and appropriate recovery education. Encourage clients to take control of their recovery using appropriate recovery language and tools.</li>\n <li><strong>Service Coordination:</strong> Work with caseworkers, treatment teams, and community partners to ensure continuous and coordinated care for clients.</li>\n <li><strong>Documentation and Compliance:</strong> Complete all required documentation and data entry promptly, adhering to program and agency policies. Ensure confidentiality of all client and organizational information.</li>\n <li><strong>Team Participation and Professional Development:</strong> Attend all assigned meetings and trainings. Support team members and engage in professional development to achieve or maintain relevant certifications.</li>\n <li><strong>Customer Service Excellence:</strong> Promote a culture of customer service excellence within the organization.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be at least 21 years of age.</li>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li>\n <li>Preferred experience in recovery and/or engagement in a recovery network, mental health, substance use, or other social/human services but not required.</li>\n <li>Valid driver’s license, private automobile insurance, and must be insurable.</li>\n <li>Basic computer skills, including videoconferencing, Microsoft Word, Outlook, and electronic medical records (EMR).</li>\n</ul>\n<p><em>Are you intrigued by this job but don’t meet every single requirement?
