Responsible for safety and quality of work performed within the construction department. Responsible for staff hiring, training, development, and performance management. &nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Minimum Required Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to meet background requirements and pass a drug test.</li><li>Valid driver’s license</li><li>Must be able to read and understand prints.</li><li>3+ years construction work experience</li><li>1+ years Leadership experience</li><li>Ability to prioritize and organize effectively</li><li>Knowledge of materials, methods, workforce, and equipment needed.</li><li>Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language, including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.</li><li>Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, DOT and OSHA regulations, and strategies to maintain a safe working environment.</li><li>Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.</li></ul><p><strong>Major Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Read specifications, such as blueprints, to determine construction requirements or to plan procedures.</li><li>Inspect work progress, equipment, or construction sites to verify safety or meet specifications.</li><li>Locate, measure, and mark site locations or placement of structures or equipment using measuring and marking equipment.</li><li>Coordinate work activities with other construction project activities.</li><li>Assign work to employees, based on material or worker requirements of specific jobs.</li><li>Estimate material or worker requirements to complete jobs.</li><li>Confer with the Project Manager, other departments, or contractors to resolve problems or to coordinate activities.</li><li>Reconcile submitted invoices to work completed in the field.</li><li>Order or requisition materials or supplies.</li><li>Analyze worker or production problems and recommend solutions, such as improving production methods or implementing motivational plans.</li><li>Train workers in construction methods, equipment operation, safety procedures, or company policies.</li><li>Record information such as personnel, production, or operational data on specified forms or reports.</li><li>Ensure required reports are timely, accurate, and complete</li><li>Establish positive employee relations through effective communication and ongoing support.</li><li>Provide Aid to workers engaged in construction or extraction activities, using hand tools or other equipment.</li><li>Arrange for repairs of equipment or machinery.</li><li>Review and process damage claims.</li><li>Suggest or initiate personnel actions, such as promotions, transfers, or hires.</li><li>Follow and enforce the Company’s policies and procedures</li><li>Perform other duties as requested by the manager.</li></ul><p><strong>Working Conditions</strong> – Combination Field environment, working in inclement weather with some office work; Flexibility of schedule.</p><p><strong>Disclaimer Statement</strong></p><p>This is not necessarily an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties, skills, efforts, requirements, or working conditions associated with this position.
