          "text": "<p>As a <strong>Lifeguard</strong>, you play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of all guests utilizing the resort's aquatic facilities. Through constant vigilance, emergency preparedness, and outstanding guest service, you help create a safe and enjoyable environment for families and visitors.</p><p>In this role, you demonstrate Westgate’s core values of <strong>Passion, Integrity, and Work Ethic</strong> in every interaction.</p><p><strong>What You'll Do as a Lifeguard:</strong></p><p>• Maintain constant surveillance of pool and water park areas to ensure guest safety.<br>\n• Identify and respond quickly to emergencies, unsafe conditions, or guests in distress.<br>\n• Administer first aid, CPR, AED assistance, and emergency care as needed.<br>\n• Contact emergency medical services when necessary and assist with emergency response procedures.<br>\n• Maintain cleanliness and organization of aquatic facilities and surrounding areas.<br>\n• Complete detailed activity logs, incident reports, and required documentation.<br>\n• Participate in scheduled in-service training and ongoing safety certifications.<br>\n• Enforce pool and water safety rules while providing exceptional guest service.<br>\n• Work collaboratively with fellow team members to support daily operations and guest needs.<br>\n• Perform additional duties as assigned.</p>",

          "text": "<p><strong>What You Will Bring as a Lifeguard:</strong></p><p>• Strong swimming ability and excellent physical fitness.<br>\n• Ability to remain calm and react quickly during emergency situations.<br>\n• Strong awareness of safety hazards and the ability to take appropriate action.<br>\n• Excellent communication and guest service skills.<br>\n• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.<br>\n• Previous lifeguarding experience preferred.</p><p><strong>Certifications</strong></p><p>• American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification preferred.<br>\n• CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications preferred.</p><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><p>• Must be able to enter the water and participate in regular in-water training exercises.<br>\n• Must be able to swim and perform lifeguard duties on a daily basis.<br>\n• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with lifting or moving over 100 pounds when necessary.<br>\n• Must be able to work in wet, humid, outdoor environments, including prolonged sun and heat exposure.<br>\n• Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and flexible schedules as needed.<br>\n• Required to pass a background check, drug test, and provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.<br>\n• Must uphold Westgate Resorts' standards of professionalism, safety, and guest service.</p>",
