We’re stronger together.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>Here are some of the great benefits that we offer:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Competitive wages</li>\n <li>Company paid health and dental benefits</li>\n <li>Paid vacation&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Opportunity for career stability and growth</li>\n <li>Tuition reimbursement program</li>\n <li>Flexibility with start and end times (depending on circumstances and position)</li>\n <li>Protective personal equipment is provided or cost of purchase is reimbursed</li>\n <li>On the job training</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Safely and efficiently operate a Class A CDL flatbed truck to transport steel materials.</li>\n <li>Secure steel products using appropriate strapping, chains, and other securement methods to prevent damage during transit.</li>\n <li>Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while driving on public roads.</li>\n <li>Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck, ensuring that all mechanical and safety components are in proper working order.</li>\n <li>Follow designated routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery to customers.</li>\n <li>Assist with loading and unloading material using forklifts, cranes, and other equipment as needed.</li>\n <li>Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents or delays encountered during transportation.</li>\n <li>Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate delivery schedules and address any concerns or issues that may arise.</li>\n <li>Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and the handling of hazardous materials, if applicable</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>ROLE REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>A valid CDL with appropriate weight classification.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>2 years of verifiable Tractor Trailer Experience preferred.</li>\n <li>1 year flatbed and steel experience preferred. (Training will be provided to ideal candidates)</li>\n <li>Knowledge of all applicable DOT Regulations and Motor Carrier Safety Regulations</li>\n <li>Able to pass pre-employment DOT physical and background check.</li>\n <li>Strong customer service skills and a professional attitude.</li>\n <li>Acceptable MVR Report Abstracts. No more than 2 moving violations within the past 36 months.</li>\n <li>Steel, Heavy Haul, and Oversized Freight experience a highlighted asset</li>\n <li>Knowledge of FMCSA and State D.O.T.&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>EQUIPMENT KNOWLEDGE:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Knowledgeable and experienced in Load Securement (strapping, chaining, tarping).&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>PHYSICAL DEMANDS:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, including bending, stooping, and climbing in and out of the truck.</li>\n <li>Comfortable working in various weather conditions and environments, including exposure to heat, cold, rain, and dust.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><i>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
