The role integrates operational oversight, commercial strategy, and financial value creation to ensure assets perform at or above their investment thesis. The Director leads cross‑functional collaboration across engineering, operations, energy management, finance, accounting, legal, regulatory, and other teams to optimize performance, manage risk, and unlock embedded value throughout the asset lifecycle.</p>\n<p>This role requires strong commercial and strategic judgment, the ability to anticipate complex multidimensional issues early, and the leadership capability to align multidisciplinary teams toward clear, value‑driven execution plans.</p>\n<h1>Leadership Competencies for Director Role</h1>\n<ul>\n <li>Strategic business leadership</li>\n <li>Commercial & financial acumen</li>\n <li>Infrastructure portfolio optimization</li>\n <li>Cross‑functional collaboration</li>\n <li>Complex problem solving</li>\n <li>Proactive risk identification</li>\n <li>Decision making & execution</li>\n</ul>\n<h1>Strategic Leadership Responsibilities</h1>\n<ul>\n <li>Serve as the strategic business leader for assigned assets and ensure performance meets or exceeds the original investment thesis.</li>\n <li>Translate physical asset performance into financial outcomes and long‑term portfolio value.</li>\n <li>Identify and capture intrinsic and embedded option value such as contract optimization, repowering opportunities, market participation strategies, and operational improvements.</li>\n <li>Ensure assets are managed not only against annual budgets but against long‑term valuation assumptions and return expectations.</li>\n <li>Drive proactive identification of risks and opportunities across operational, regulatory, technical, and commercial dimensions.</li>\n</ul>\n<h1>Core Administrative Responsibilities</h1>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintain comprehensive understanding of contractual, regulatory, and operational obligations across all assets.</li>\n <li>Lead cross‑functional collaboration across subject matter experts including operations, engineering, energy management, commercial structuring, finance, accounting, environmental, regulatory and legal teams.</li>\n <li>Develop strategies to optimize revenue, reduce risk exposure, and enhance long‑term asset value.</li>\n <li>Oversee compliance with key agreements including power purchase agreements, transmission and interconnection agreements, O&M contracts, financing agreements, and regulatory permits.</li>\n <li>Support development and origination teams to ensure projects are structured for long‑term operational and financial success.</li>\n <li>Drive coordinated execution plans for emerging risks or opportunities.</li>\n <li>Mentor asset managers and contribute to the evolution of best practices in asset management.</li>\n</ul>\n<h1>Strategic Asset Lifecycle Management</h1>\n<ul>\n <li>Oversee asset performance from early operations through long‑term optimization.</li>\n <li>Evaluate opportunities for repowering, refinancing, contract restructuring, and market repositioning.</li>\n <li>Ensure operational decisions align with long‑term infrastructure value creation.</li>\n <li>Partner with finance and commercial teams to ensure alignment between physical performance and financial outcomes.</li>\n</ul>\n<h1>Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Oversight  </h1>\n<ul>\n <li>Portfolio EBITDA and cash flow performance relative to budget and investment model.</li>\n <li>Asset availability, generation performance, and operational efficiency metrics.</li>\n <li>Revenue optimization including merchant exposure management and contract performance.</li>\n <li>Operating cost control and long‑term cost optimization.</li>\n <li>Risk management effectiveness including regulatory, contractual, and operational compliance.</li>\n <li>Successful capture of value‑enhancing initiatives such as repowering, contract renegotiation, or market strategy improvements.</li>\n <li>Cross‑functional execution effectiveness and project delivery timelines.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<h1>Qualifications</h1>\n<p>Experience</p>\n<ul>\n <li>15+ years of experience in managing power assets, infrastructure, or power markets.</li>\n <li>Experience in asset management, commercial strategy, infrastructure operations, or portfolio optimization.</li>\n <li>Experience managing wind, solar, storage, or transmission infrastructure assets preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Skills</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong understanding of project economics, power markets, revenue structures, contractual frameworks (PPAs, hedges, tolling agreements), infrastructure valuation and investment drivers.</li>\n <li>Ability to connect operational performance with financial and strategic outcomes.</li>\n <li>Strong cross‑functional leadership and stakeholder management capability.</li>\n <li>Proven ability to anticipate complex challenges and drive coordinated solutions.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Education</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or related discipline required.
