    "description": "<p>Kirk Marine is looking to recruit a Marine Yard Worker. If you are passionate about boats and the marine industry, then this may be the role for you. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Job Knowledge &amp; Abilities: </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cleaning boats and SeaDoo's, removing new units from crates, helping mechanics with service-work, trailer assembly &amp; repair.</li>\n<li>Perform routine maintenance on all equipment throughout the yard.</li>\n<li>Clean and prepare inside or outside work areas allowing smooth transitions between projects.</li>\n<li>Movement of boats to and from off-site locations including haul &amp; launch.</li>\n<li>Maintain an organized yard and load/unload deliveries.</li>\n<li>Facility maintenance, grounds keeping duties, basic clean up around the yard, etc.</li>\n<li>Cut and repackage fiberglass cloths and resins.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Required Skills: </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Mechanical know-how and ability.</li>\n<li>Basic knowledge and use of hand tools.</li>\n<li>Customer Service is key, must have good communication skills and pleasant demeanor.</li>\n<li>Be technically sound in operating various material handling equipment; forklift, hand truck, dollies, trailers etc.</li>\n<li>Be skilled in maintaining and using pressure washers or other small equipment.</li>\n<li>Haul/launch and block vessels utilizing boat hauler, trailer and boat stands.</li>\n<li>Valid driver's license with an acceptable clear record required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Work Hours:</p>\n<p>40 hour work week; willingness to work weekends, public holidays and flexible hours if required.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>Compensation:</span></p>\n<p><span>CI$10.00 per hour, starting rate. </span></p>\n<p><br></p>",
