The Group’s head office is in Malta but is also present through offices in Italy, Cyprus, Morocco, <br>Nigeria and Algeria.  <br> <br>Though Hudson Holdings was founded in 2006, the Group’s roots reach as far back as 1987 when the first <br>pair of NIKE was sold in Malta. <br> <br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Role purpose </span><br>As an In Store Visual Merchandiser at Hudson, you'll be at the heart of creating an appealing in-store <br>environment and embodying our brand essence.  <br> <br>With a multifaceted role that encompasses both sales assistance on the shop floor and dedicating 20% <br>of your time to perfecting visual merchandising, you'll be instrumental in maintaining the aesthetic charm <br>and brand integrity throughout our retail spaces. Your responsibilities extend beyond the visual, making <br>you a key player in the overall customer experience. <br> <br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">The key duties and responsibilities of the role are as follows: </span></p>\n<p>• Implement and adapt central VM guidelines, ensuring alignment with brand DNA and local market <br>trends. <br>• Conduct regular store visit to assess visual consistency, product placement, and brand <br>representation. <br>• Collaborate closely with store managers and sales staff to ensure product knowledge aligns with <br>merchandising goals. <br>• Execute seasonal window displays, product launches, and promotional setups in line with brand <br>strategies. <br>• Analyse store layouts and customer flow to optimize product placement and enhance customer <br>experience. <br>• Optimize product placement and sell-through – use reports, customer feedback and competitor <br>analysis to adapt VM in support of business KPIs. <br>• Execute launches and promotions – ensure execution is in line with the marketing and commercial <br>calendar. <br>• Support in-store cross-selling opportunities – maintain themed displays and product groupings to <br>increase ATV and UPT. <br>• Collaborate with Buying, Supply Chain, and Operations teams – understand inventory deliveries and <br>translate commercial priorities into visual action points on the shop floor. <br>• Train store teams on visual execution – guide store staff on VM standards, product presentation, <br>and maintaining displays/fixtures with a commercial focus. <br>• Provide regular feedback &amp; photo packs to the central VM team on local market trends, customer <br>behaviour, and product performance. <br>• Support new store openings, renovations, or special events as required. <br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"> </span><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Expectations: </span><br>• Consistent application of central VM guidelines with creative local adaptations as needed. <br>• Effective communication with the central VM team and local retail management. <br>• Proactive approach to problem-solving and adapting layouts based on customer insights. <br>• High attention to detail, ensuring each store reflects the brand’s premium positioning. <br>• Ability to work independently while aligning with broader brand objectives. <br> <br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">KPIs: </span><br>• Stock Turnover: Increased sell-through rates for key marketing styles. <br>• Customer Conversion: Improved in-store foot traffic &amp; sales conversion. <br>• Visual Maintenance: Frequency and quality of VM updates as per brand standards. <br>• Feedback Quality: Constructive insights shared with the central VM team. <br>• Photo packs: Grading system by Central VM to measure quality of merchandising. <br> <br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Measuring Effectiveness: </span><br>• Regular store audits and performance reviews. <br>• Monthly reporting to the central VM team on key insights and results. <br>• Customer feedback and market insights to refine merchandising strategies. <br>• Collaborative assessment of VM impact on sales and overall store performance. <br>• Mystery Shopper: Monitor feedback/results related to VM and layout, follow up on actions. <br>• Training Engagement: Track number of staff trained on VM standards <br>• Timing of Execution: Evaluate stores based on timely implementation of campaigns in line with <br>marketing/commercial calendar. <br> <br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications &amp; Skills: </span><br>• 2+ years of experience in visual merchandising is a plus, ideally in a multi-brand or lifestyle retail <br>environment. <br>• Strong creative and commercial mindset, with an eye for design and detail. <br>• Excellent communication and collaboration skills. <br>• Proficiency in visual merchandising software and digital tools. <br>• Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and weekends as required.</p>",
