Starting hourly rate within this range will be determined based on the candidate's experience, qualifications, and/or skillset.</p><p><strong>Summary:</strong></p><p>The Quality Technician plays a vital role in ensuring the quality and compliance of products within a manufacturing environment. This position involves conducting inspections, tests, and audits to uphold the highest standards of quality.</p><p><strong>Essential Functions:</strong></p><ul><li>Perform visual and dimensional inspections of products at various stages of the production process to ensure adherence to quality standards.</li><li>Conduct tests on materials and finished products to assess their quality and compliance with specifications.</li><li>Analyze test results and promptly communicate findings.</li><li>Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspections, tests, and quality-related data.</li><li>Ensure compliance with documentation requirements and quality standards.</li><li>Investigate and identify the root causes of quality issues.</li><li>Collaborate with relevant teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.</li><li>Conduct regular audits of manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Calibrate and maintain inspection equipment to ensure accurate and reliable measurements.</li><li>Enforce quality control procedures to prevent defects and deviations in the production process.</li><li>Effectively communicate quality standards and expectations to production teams.</li><li>Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting and implementing enhancements to quality control processes.</li><li>Provide training to production staff on quality control procedures and standards.</li><li>Report and document non-conforming materials or products.
