These focus areas reinforce our values and help improve people's lives, patient care, infection prevention, and operational efficiency. </p>\n<h2>The Role</h2>\n<p>Directly responsible for cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining all assigned areas using established practices and procedures according to company and client standards of quality and safety. May require frequent interaction with client.</p>\n<h2>What You Will Do</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Demonstrate a complete knowledge of infection control, isolation procedures and proper operation of cleaning equipment while sanitizing patient, operating, Inpatient Tower or emergency room. </li>\n <li>Perform terminal cleanings to include but not limited to, Covid, Monkey Pox, TB, lice, maggots, mites, worms, or bodily fluids </li>\n <li>Perform pressure washing in outpatient departments and/or operating rooms </li>\n <li>Comply with Servicon corporate policy and procedures, client’s partnership agreement, and Statement of Work (SOW), therefore developing a strong client relationship that is based on integrity, professionalism, respect, responsiveness, urgency, and quality performance. </li>\n <li>Monitor and inspect assigned work area while performing duties and after duties have been completed to verify that all work has been done in compliance with site-specific procedures, scope of work, and Servicon standards.</li>\n <li>Participate in training programs covering subjects such as safety regulations, procedures, efficient/cost-effective methods of cleaning, and equipment preventive maintenance.</li>\n <li>Empty, clean, and damp-wipe all waste receptacles as well as remove waste paper and rubbish from the premises to designated areas.</li>\n <li>Hand dust and wipe clean all office furniture, file cabinets, fixtures, paneling, windowsills, air-conditioning diffusers, wall grilles, and all other horizontal surfaces.</li>\n <li>Remove all finger marks and smudges from vertical surfaces, including doors, doorframes, light switches, private entrance glass, and partitions.</li>\n <li>Damp-mop or clean any spillage in the healthcare facility, stairwells, and public areas as required. </li>\n <li>Keep janitor’s closet clean, neat, and in orderly condition. </li>\n <li>Sweep or dust mop hard floor surfaces.</li>\n <li>Other jobs and duties as identified or assigned as needed. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What It Takes To Be Successful</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>1+ years of custodial experience a plus</li>\n <li>1 + year experience working in emergency rooms, operating rooms, etc.</li>\n <li>Ability to handle under pressure emergencies</li>\n <li>Knowledgeable in disposal of biohazard waste/material</li>\n <li>Prior experience cleaning in healthcare facilities preferred</li>\n <li>Must be fluent in English language</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Covid-19 vaccination requirements may vary by client site.</strong></p>\n<p> </p>",
