The team is responsible for developing IPs for data center SERDES applications for 200G and 400G, including DSPs, Drivers, and TIAs. This is a people management position with hands-on technical leadership responsibilities. In this role, you will focus on the following:</p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide hands-on technical leadership, driving strategic decisions, roadmaps, and architectural developments for mixed-signal designs across global teams</li>\n <li>Partner with IC designers and system engineers to develop high-performance analog and mixed-signal circuits for next-generation products</li>\n <li>Translate product specifications into block-level design requirements and drive technical excellence in Implementation</li>\n <li>Build, mentor, and develop a world-class team of analog, mixed-signal, and RF IC designers</li>\n <li>Recruit top talent and cultivate a high-performance, innovative culture</li>\n <li>Drive performance management, career development, and succession planning</li>\n <li>Enhance organizational capability through coaching and skills development</li>\n <li>Partner with system engineering, digital design, CAD, and technology teams to optimize design flows and methodologies</li>\n <li>Collaborate with support teams to enhance productivity across the organization</li>\n <li>Interface with customers throughout product development and release-to-production phases</li>\n <li>Represent the design organization in executive-level technical and business discussions</li>\n <li>Oversee IC tape-out and productization from concept through production release</li>\n <li>Ensure design quality, manufacturability, and time-to-market objectives</li>\n <li>Champion continuous improvement in design processes and methodology</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Extensive experience in analog/mixed-signal or RF design with proven IC tape-out and productization track record</li>\n <li>Deep knowledge of analog, mixed-signal, and RF IC design principles</li>\n <li>Hands-on experience with advanced CMOS process nodes</li>\n <li>Demonstrated success managing and developing engineering teams</li>\n <li>Strong written and verbal communication with proven customer-facing abilities</li>\n <li>Strong executive presentation skills</li>\n <li>Track record managing strategic initiatives and cross-functional programs</li>\n <li>Passionate about building and leading high-performance teams</li>\n <li>Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities</li>\n <li>Collaborative mindset with ability to influence across organizational boundaries</li>\n <li>Results-oriented with focus on execution and delivery</li>\n <li>BS in Electrical Engineering or related + 11 years of experience, or MS + 9 years of experience, or Ph.D. + 6 years of experience</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Compensation and Benefits</h2>\n<p>MaxLinear has a Total Compensation philosophy which includes base salary and annual discretionary bonus eligibility and many positions also include stock-based compensation.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>MaxLinear's good faith estimate starting base salary range is:  $177,000 to $259,000 Annually</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We offer competitive benefits designed to support employee health, welfare, and retirement and some highlights are:  health care benefits, 401k savings plan, Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP), and paid time off.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The actual starting base salary will be determined by the match to certain role-related criteria such as educational degree(s) or equivalent, relevant work experience, skillset needed for the role, and geographic location; this is not an all-inclusive list as some roles may require unique skills or experience.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to, and will not be discriminated against based on race, sex, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or protected veteran status.</p>\n<h2>Company Overview</h2>\n<p>MaxLinear is a global, NASDAQ-traded company (MXL) where the entrepreneurial spirit is alive and well.
