    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>Tactica Solutions, LLC is seeking an experienced and qualified Senior Engineer (PE) for a Systems Engineering & Technical Assistance (SETA) contract supporting the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command (USASMDC) Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff, G-4 for the Engineering Division on Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, AL. \n<strong>Duties and Responsibilities:</strong>\n<ul>\n <li>Serve as a senior engineering SME providing technical oversight and advisory support for USASMDC facilities engineering, sustainment, and infrastructure programs.</li>\n <li>Lead complex engineering studies, technical analyses, and design reviews for construction, renovation, and facilities modernization projects at USASMDC locations worldwide.</li>\n <li>Provide professional engineering guidance on structural, civil, mechanical, or electrical systems associated with USASMDC facilities and mission infrastructure.</li>\n <li>Review and evaluate engineering drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and contractor submittals for compliance with applicable codes, standards, and Army regulations.</li>\n <li>Coordinate with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), USASMDC DCSENG, and other stakeholders on project planning, design, and execution.</li>\n <li>Support environmental compliance reviews, NEPA analyses, and sustainability initiatives as they relate to USASMDC facilities.</li>\n <li>Provide technical input on facility-related Program Objective Memorandums (POMs), Military Construction (MILCON) projects, and sustainment budgets.</li>\n <li>Mentor and guide junior engineers; review technical products for quality and regulatory compliance.</li>\n <li>Prepare engineering reports, white papers, and technical briefings for senior USASMDC leadership.</li>\n <li>Apply professional engineering judgment and seal (PE stamp) to engineering documents as required.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Requirements</h2>\n<strong>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:</strong>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum 10 years of professional engineering experience, with demonstrated expertise in facilities engineering, construction management, or related discipline.</li>\n <li>Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in civil, mechanical, electrical, or structural engineering from a U.S. state/territory.</li>\n <li>Bachelor's degree in Engineering (civil, mechanical, electrical, structural, or related field) from an ABET-accredited institution required.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of Army Facilities Management, MILCON programming, Army Installation Status Report (ISR), and relevant DoD/Army engineering standards.</li>\n <li>Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, or similar engineering design tools preferred.</li>\n <li>Experience with Federal acquisition regulations (FAR/DFARS) as they relate to construction and facilities contracts.</li>\n <li>Exceptional written and oral communication skills; experience briefing senior military and civilian leadership.</li>\n <li>Active Secret security clearance required.</li>\n <li>U.S. Citizenship required.</li>\n</ul>\n<strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong>\n<ul>\n <li>Prior experience supporting USASMDC DCSENG or similar Army Major Command engineering offices.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with GFEBS, ePRISMS, and other Army facilities management information systems.</li>\n <li>Experience with NEPA, environmental compliance, and sustainability programs for DoD installations.</li>\n <li>Master's degree in Engineering or related field preferred.</li>\n <li>Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.</li>\n <li>Experience supporting Missile Defense Agency or similar programs.</li>\n</ul>\n<strong>Job Location</strong>Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, AL 35898 \n<strong>Physical Requirements</strong>Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner.
