    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><p id=\"isPasted\">GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES</p><p>Performs a variety of patient care activities to assist physician(s) and medical office personnel.</p><p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as determined by</p><p>Omni Management.</p><p>1. Obtains patient medical, ocular and medication history and transcribes results into our EHR (electronic health record).</p><p>2. Transcribes physician&rsquo;s orally dictated findings during patient exam and accurately enters results in EHR.</p><p>3. Assists physician(s) by obtaining supplies needed during patient care.</p><p>4. Performs following testing:</p><p> Visual acuity</p><p> Auto/manual refractions</p><p> Lensometry</p><p> Tonometry (Icare, tonopen, Goldman)</p><p> Visual field testing</p><p> OCT/A-scans/B-scans/Pentacam/fundus photos</p><p> Glare testing</p><p> Color vision testing</p><p> Schirmer&rsquo;s tear testing</p><p> Other testing as needed</p><p>5. Reviews patient charts and posts tests and examination results into EHR.</p><p>6. Stocks supplies on an ongoing basis to keep current stock requirements.</p><p>7. Cleans patient exam rooms and equipment. Maintains autoclave in accordance with established guidelines and</p><p>procedures.</p><p>8. Maintains patient confidentiality.</p><p>9. Demonstrates compliance of safety rules and other policies and procedures.</p><p>10. Demonstrates the ability to work with geriatric patients and patients of all ages.</p><p>11. Ability to travel to other practice locations as needed.</p><p>SECONDARY JOB DUTIES</p><p>1. Attends required meetings and participates in committees as requested. Enhances professional growth and</p><p>development through meetings, education programs, seminars and conferences.</p><p>2. Performs other duties to ensure the smooth flow of work/patients in the office.</p><p>SKILLS AND ABILITIES</p><p>1. Demonstrated excellence in communications skills</p><p>2.
