    "description": "<h2>Our Company</h2>\n<p>Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation</p>\n<p></p>\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>Licensed Professional Counselor - Neuro Rehab</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We’re looking for a <strong>Licensed Professional Counselor</strong> who believes real recovery happens when patients can live fully and reach the goals that matter most to them – focused in the specialized setting of neuro rehab.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>You’ll guide individuals recovering from neurological injuries as they rebuild independence, confidence, and the life they want.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Enjoy <strong>flexible scheduling</strong>, <strong>competitive pay</strong>, and a <strong>supportive, collaborative environment</strong> — so you can focus on patients, not paperwork.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Performs comprehensive evaluations, assessing the needs of patients and their families, and sets measurable objectives and goals that are formulated in conjunction with the rehabilitation team. Adjusts treatment plan to achieve maximum results in independence and/or function</li>\n <li>Provides empirically based psychological interventions to the patients and families as appropriate for their specific needs to maximize and encourage their participation with the community at large</li>\n <li>Designs community reintegration activities to assist the patient with their psychological/cognitive needs during physical activity</li>\n <li>Assists the patient in understanding their needs and limitations and how to manage them during function</li>\n <li>Regularly re-assesses effectiveness of treatment plan, progress of patient towards goals and the need for modifying goals or treatment</li>\n <li>Communicates patient’s needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, patient, family members, and others as applicable</li>\n <li>Consults with medical providers regarding patient evaluation & treatment, progress of the patient & discharge from treatment</li>\n <li>Observes/documents and reports changes in the condition/status of the person receiving services to the Clinical Coordinator, Program Manager or DCM, attending physician and other treatment team members</li>\n <li>Maintains and submits evaluation, treatment and billing documentation in the format and timelines required by the Company, facility, funding source, local, state and federal regulations</li>\n <li>Adheres to standards of the Company's Code of Business Conduct, policies, HIPAA and Corporate Compliance programs and appropriate professional practice standards and applicable state/federal laws</li>\n <li>Performs other duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Master’s or doctoral degree in counseling or a counseling-related field from an accredited college or university, as determined by the state licensing requirements</li>\n <li>Current professional license and/or certification as required by the state of practice</li>\n <li>A minimum of one year of post master’s degree clinical experience and counseling individuals with traumatic or acquired brain injuries or related neurological conditions</li>\n <li>Knowledge of complex neurologic injury rehabilitation techniques</li>\n <li>Demonstrates effective and professional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills</li>\n <li>Able to work independently and part of a team</li>\n <li>Has reliable transportation and can travel to/from multiple assignments/ locations on a daily basis</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>About our Line of Business</h2>Rehab Without Walls, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, is a revolutionary neurorehabilitation program that moves individuals outside the walls of institutional settings and into their natural home and community environment through a continuum of care.
