&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Position Summary:</span></strong></p><p>&nbsp;With a <strong>Quality</strong>, <strong>Customer First</strong>, and <strong>Compassionate</strong> approach, The Patient Specialist will:</p><ul><li>Greet patient and confirm prescheduled procedures. &nbsp;</li><li>Collect basic patient information, such as name and address or verify information is already in the computer for the patient.&nbsp;</li><li>Coordinate patient flow with enrollment, handing out documentation needed. &nbsp;</li><li>Collect or verify billing information for the patient. &nbsp;Review the patient&rsquo;s insurance card to ensure it is valid, make copies of the insurance card and the patient&rsquo;s identification card. &nbsp;</li><li>Enter and update billing information in the computer. &nbsp;</li><li>Collect patient co-pay, amount due and provide patient with a receipt. &nbsp;Reconcile daily cash reports and counsel patient on account balances. &nbsp; &nbsp;</li><li>Print admissions form, release form and insurance form. &nbsp;Instruct patient to read and sign each form and answer patient questions. &nbsp;Inspect forms to ensure each has a signature and make copies of each form for the patient. &nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Electronically scan the signed forms and attach them to the patient&rsquo;s record in the computer and file original, signed forms. &nbsp;</li><li>Answer, screen phone calls, provide information, and direct calls to appropriate parties or take message. &nbsp;</li><li>Schedule appointments and enter appointment date and time into computer. &nbsp;</li><li>Conduct reminder calls to patients.</li><li>Distribute patient surveys according to guidelines. &nbsp;</li><li>Support team to meet patient needs.</li><li>Assist team to maintain proper clinic flow.</li><li>Monitor patient wait time. &nbsp; &nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>High School Diploma or general education degree (GED),&nbsp;</li><li>Associate Degree in Medical Staff Services Management</li><li>1-3 years related on the job experience and/or training;
