Do you want to join a high-performing team of dedicated professionals who work effectively together, have fun, and share the joy of truly making the word a better place?&nbsp;</p><p><span style=\"background-color: transparent;\">Through the dedication and commitment of our staff, Thrive&rsquo;s clients receive the highest quality of care available, incorporating proven, effective treatment for substance use and mental health disorders.</span></p><p>The ideal candidate will be results-driven, team-and detail-oriented professional who is comfortable working on multiple tasks in a deadline-oriented environment.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li id=\"isPasted\" style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Provide mental health and substance abuse screening, assessment, orientation, treatment and follow-up services primarily within the agency, but also in other settings as needed.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Provide individual, couples, family or group counseling within the scope of one&rsquo;s competencies.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Provide crisis intervention.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Provide referral consultation and education to the community regarding issues of chemical dependency and mental health.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Provide chemical dependency and mental health consultation, education and training to agency personnel.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Develop and implement treatment plans and document services consistent with Thrive standards and/or insurance requirements.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Collaborate with other providers, agencies and individuals in the client&#39;s network of care.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Provide relapse prevention, discharge planning, follow-up and aftercare.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Provide education, training, and modeling in basic daily living skills, social or parenting skills.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Teach clients effective techniques for managing their medication as prescribed.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Coordinate services within Thrive as needed.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Assist clients in developing and strengthening their support network to accomplish goals and objectives.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Produce, complete, and maintain billing forms, logs, data collection forms, clinical documentation and client records in accordance with Thrive standards and state and federal regulations.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Assist clients in maintaining appropriate medical coverage at all times. Collaborate with Case Manager in doing so when appropriate.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Schedule and maintain client hours sufficient to achieve individual / program billing targets.</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Master&rsquo;s Degree in the human service field of social work or counseling preferred.&nbsp;</li><li>Minimum (2) year experience working with clients with disabilities preferred.&nbsp;</li><li>Experience or training in related state and federal assistance programs also preferred.&nbsp;</li><li>Licensed at an independent level</li><li>Basic computer literacy skills are necessary</li><li>Valid driver&#39;s license and automobile insurance which meets Rhode Island minimum standards law, or the ability to obtain necessary transportation in order to perform the job responsibilities/tasks is necessary for community based positions.</li></ul><p><strong>Benefits:</strong></p><p>Thrive Behavioral Health provides a friendly/family working environment, whose values include Dignity, Respect, Teamwork and Professional Support and Development.
