    "description": "<p>Energy Support Services, a New Energy Equity company, keeps solar and energy storage systems safe, reliable, and producing clean power. As our Solar O&amp;M Technician Level 3, you’ll be the technical expert in the field,  leading complex inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs, and mentoring the next generation of technicians. You’ll own your sites, shape how the work gets done, and follow a clear, defined development pathway with advancement to Technician Level 4.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Pay:<span> </span></span>$92,000-115,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">WHAT WE OFFER</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">up to an 8% performance bonus paid out annually.</span></li>\n<li>Company truck, company credit card, vehicle maintenance card, tools and equipment provided.</li>\n<li>Company provided PPE and Fire Resistant clothing kit provided including bibs, jackets, pants and shirts</li>\n<li>Medical, dental, and vision coverage, the company pays 80% of health insurance premiums , plus a 401(k) with up to a 7.5% company match.</li>\n<li>Paid time off accrued each pay period , 120 hours per year (years 0–2), 160 hours (years 3–9), and 200 hours (10+ years) , plus 11 paid holidays.</li>\n<li>8 weeks of paid parental leave.</li>\n<li>Company-provided Life and Accidental Death &amp; Dismemberment insurance at one times your annual salary.</li>\n<li>Company-paid certifications and training, including OSHA, NFPA 70e/70b, FAA Part 107, and the O&amp;M Tech course series.</li>\n<li>A transparent Field Tech Development Pathway with defined advancement to Technician IV , progression based on demonstrated capability, not tenure.</li>\n<li>Tuition reimbursement up to $10,000 annually for approved educational programs.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Safety</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure work is performed in accordance with safety policies and procedures.</li>\n<li>Review and ensure correct PPE is available and being used properly.</li>\n<li>Create PLOTO and LOTO Switch plans for approval.</li>\n<li>Act as work leader for Pre-Job Briefs, Job Safety Analysis, Personal LOTO, and switch plan LOTO.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Inspections &amp; Preventative Maintenance</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead comprehensive inspections of solar power plants.</li>\n<li>Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs.</li>\n<li>Supervise and train junior technicians on inspection and maintenance procedures.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Troubleshooting</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Diagnose and troubleshoot complex system issues, including grid integration and communication problems.</li>\n<li>Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and software to diagnose and address system performance issues.</li>\n<li>Develop and implement corrective action plans.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Documentation</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of inspections, maintenance, and repairs.</li>\n<li>Prepare technical reports and presentations for management.</li>\n<li>Skilled in Work Order documentation; provide oversight and direction in documentation to junior technicians.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Learning &amp; Knowledge</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies.</li>\n<li>Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior technicians.</li>\n<li>Contribute to the development of training materials and procedures.</li>\n<li>Other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">QUALIFICATIONS</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Experience:</span><span> </span>2–4 years of experience in the solar industry or a related electrical field</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Education:</span><span> </span>Associate's degree in electrical engineering or a related field preferred.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Certifications:</span>\n<ul>\n<li>OSHA 30-hour and NFPA 70e certifications.</li>\n<li>FAA Part 107 Certification (or proficiency operating Drones for Aerial Thermographic purposes).</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Technical Skills:</span>\n<ul>\n<li>Proficient knowledge of electrical systems, solar energy technologies, and grid-tied systems.</li>\n<li>Proficient in the use of diagnostic tools such as I/V Curve Tracers, Meggers, and Isolation testers.</li>\n<li>Ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics and engineering drawings.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Leadership &amp; Communication:</span>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.</li>\n<li>Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor junior technicians in the field.</li>\n<li>Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Requirements:</span><span> </span>Valid driver's license and clean driving record.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Be able to drive a vehicle confidently and with a high degree of safety.</li>\n<li>Be able to stand for long periods of time and walk distances up to three miles a day.</li>\n<li>Be able to navigate ladders, stairs, scaffolding, and ramps while maintaining 3 points of contact.</li>\n<li>Have the visual acuity for depth perception, no field of vision issues, and the ability to distinguish between colors.</li>\n<li>Be comfortable working in a variety of climate conditions which may include, but are not limited to, extreme heat (temperatures above 100°F) or extreme cold (temperatures below 32°F) for periods of more than one hour.</li>\n<li>Be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time. </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><em>The expected annual compensation range for this position is $92,000 - $115,000, encompassing base pay and potential incentive target opportunity.
