Description
The Engineering Project Manager at Hyper Solutions leads the planning, development, and delivery of mechanical systems supporting low- and medium-voltage power distribution products, including PDUs and related mission-critical infrastructure components. This role combines technical engineering expertise with strong project management capabilities to drive successful execution from concept through production.
This position works cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and external partners to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with customer and business objectives. The Engineering Project Manager plays a key role in coordinating complex product development efforts while maintaining high standards for quality, performance, and reliability.
This role is well-suited for an engineer with strong mechanical design experience who has transitioned into project leadership and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Core Responsibilities
Lead cross-functional engineering projects for power distribution units (PDUs) and associated components Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to ensure timely project execution Track project progress, milestones, risks, and deliverables, providing regular updates to stakeholders and leadership Manage risk assessments, design reviews, and engineering change control processes Ensure alignment between engineering development, production readiness, and customer requirements Additional Responsibilities
Collaborate with suppliers and contract manufacturers to assess production readiness and execution timelines Support Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Testing (DFT) efforts, including prototyping and validation builds Participate in factory acceptance testing (FAT), field trials, and failure analysis efforts Contribute to continuous improvement of project management processes, tools, and cross-functional coordination Support global or multi-site project execution across different time zones and partner environments
