We are seeking experienced and professional Registered Nurses to work</span> <span style=\"color: rgb(0,0,0);background-color: rgb(255,255,255);font-size: 16px;font-family: ProximaNova, sans-serif;\"><strong>per-diem</strong></span> <span style=\"color: rgb(0,0,0);background-color: rgb(255,255,255);font-size: 16px;font-family: ProximaNova, sans-serif;\">with our care teams. This position will care for patients residing in private homes and LTC facilities. Local travel in Lake <strong><ins>OR&nbsp;</ins></strong>Sumter counties is required (depending on where you live) with mileage reimbursement.&nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Our PRN Nurses fill in for PTO, Leaves of Absences and/or Census spikes.</p><p style=\"text-align:start;\">&nbsp;<span style=\"color: rgb(0,0,0);background-color: rgb(255,255,255);font-size: 16px;font-family: ProximaNova, sans-serif;\"><strong>Schedule</strong>: <ins>As Needed</ins> - our service days and hours are - Monday - Thursday 8am - 6pm / Friday - Sunday 8am - 8pm</span> &nbsp;</p><p><strong><em><u>The PRN requirement is to commit to at least 4 shifts per month (including one weekend shift - Fri, Sat, OR Sun) and one Holiday per year</u></em></strong><u>.</u></p><p style=\"text-align:start;\">&nbsp;&nbsp;<span style=\"color: rgb(0,0,0);background-color: rgb(255,255,255);font-size: 16px;font-family: ProximaNova, sans-serif;\"><strong>JOB DUTIES/KNOWLEDGE</strong></span> &nbsp;&nbsp;</p><ul><li dir=\"auto\"><span style=\"color: rgb(0,0,0);background-color: rgb(255,255,255);font-size: 16px;font-family: ProximaNova, sans-serif;\">Provides services requiring substantial and specialized nursing skills, in accordance with the plan of care signed by the physician. May make the initial evaluation visit to the patient. Demonstrates competency in all skills required for the agency, including, but not limited to, pain and symptom control, wound care, infusion therapy, infusion therapy device care, and aseptic technique.</span> &nbsp;</li><li dir=\"auto\"><span style=\"color: rgb(0,0,0);background-color: rgb(255,255,255);font-size: 16px;font-family: ProximaNova, sans-serif;\">Evaluates the nursing needs of the patient. Initiates, develops, implements and makes necessary revisions to the patient&rsquo;s plan of care in collaboration with IDT. Assesses the patient&rsquo;s continual care needs. Addresses all problems in the plan of care or documents rationale for not doing so.</span> &nbsp;</li><li dir=\"auto\"><span style=\"color: rgb(0,0,0);background-color: rgb(255,255,255);font-size: 16px;font-family: ProximaNova, sans-serif;\">Initiates diagnostic and palliative nursing procedures as appropriate to the patient&rsquo;s care and safety. Makes referrals to other disciplines as indicated by the patient&rsquo;s needs or documents rationale for not doing so.</span> &nbsp;</li><li dir=\"auto\"><span style=\"color: rgb(0,0,0);background-color: rgb(255,255,255);font-size: 16px;font-family: ProximaNova, sans-serif;\">Observes signs and symptoms and reports to physician and/or other appropriate health professional as often as needed, or upon changes in the patient&rsquo;s condition.</span> &nbsp;</li><li dir=\"auto\"><span style=\"color: rgb(0,0,0);background-color: rgb(255,255,255);font-size: 16px;font-family: ProximaNova, sans-serif;\">Teaches, supervises and counsels the patient and family regarding home nursing procedures and other care needs as appropriate to the patient&rsquo;s condition.
