The ideal candidate will have a background in Manufacturing in a high-volume production environment. We are looking for someone with a hands-on, people-leadership approach with the ability to lead and participate in a high output environment.</p><p><strong>Key Job Responsibilities:</strong></p><ol start=\"1\" type=\"1\"><li>Determine production requirements utilizing the daily schedule.&nbsp;</li><li>Work with the other shift supervisor(s) to attain the most efficient and cost-effective way to complete scheduled orders in the extrusion areas.</li><li>Supervise and participate in the daily operation to assure on time completion of jobs to meet customer demand at a cost consistent with established standards</li><li>Communicate with other shift supervisors to ensure accurate handoff of instructions and any issues from the prior shift.</li><li>Supervise the work of direct reports and communicate with staff regarding questions.</li><li>Responsible for ensuring that assigned projects are being produced to meet quality standards and are delivered on time.</li><li>Assists in counting monthly inventory when needed.</li><li>Ability to learn and be safe and proficient in the machine set up/start up in the extrusion rooms</li><li>Measure silicone tubing and hose which includes the inside diameter (I.D.), the outside diameter (O.D.), wall thickness, and length. &nbsp;Uses the following tools for measuring: rulers, tape measures, dial calipers, wall thickness, laser O.D. gauges and pin gauge.</li><li>Understand and properly apply measurement tolerances to the specified dimensions of tubing and hose.</li><li>Maintains a safe work environment; follows all company safety policies and holds team members accountable. &nbsp;</li><li>Uses FIFO when using raw material for extrusion. Obtains and records accurate lot information and batch information. Clearly fills out paperwork on a timely basis. Follows company rules on documentation.</li><li>Trains new team members.</li><li>Completes housekeeping and logging of all Cleanroom activities daily.</li></ol><p>&nbsp;<strong>&nbsp;</strong><strong>______________________________________________________________________</strong></p><p><strong>Education, Skills and Experience Requirements:</strong></p><ol start=\"1\" type=\"1\"><li>High school diploma or equivalent required</li><li>2-3 years in a Supervisory role required</li><li>5 years of silicone extrusion experience a plus</li><li>Ability to lift and mix 50 pounds of silicone rubber on a two-roll mill</li><li>Works with a sense of urgency with a customer first attitude</li><li>Computer literate, proficient in MS Word and Excel</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Ability to communicate effectively with employees when delegating work and explaining procedures and processes</li><li>Excellent attention to detail while working to tight deadlines.</li><li>Must be well organized and able to respond quickly to changing situations</li><li>Team player with ability to work well on his/her own</li><li>Comfortable on ladders in order to string the line at start up</li><li>Strong collaboration with other departments is required</li></ol><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p>\n    </div>\n  \n",
